Overpriced, relying on their location to force you to pay over the odds. Stupidly, will not take debit cards under £5, so it makes that trip to screwfix (where the same stuff is nearly half price) all the more worthwhile.

Sad really, this could be a good local business, instead it is trapped in the last century.

Good local store, they generally have what you want. A bit more expensive than the big boys but generally they are worth the petrol and the hassle of driving to Plymouth. Their building materials deliveries are good. Family owned shops like this are getting rarer and if you rather give your money to a big organization owned by a Canadian pension fund or a Russian oligarch then go ahead but I know where I LIKE to shop.

Little treasure cove of DIY with great local service and helpful customer service

Lovely little hardware shop many useful products from garden tools to a simple bolt. Friendly helpful staff and offer delivery at a reasonable price too
