Excellent service and care!
I needed wound care, treatment and advice following a recent accident. No longer having an MIU at Beccles
hospital, prompted me to contact Beccles surgery. I was treated by a nursing associate and subsequently a nurse assistant at 2 appointments and cannot praise them enough for their excellent treatment. Thank you

Always had issues dealing with Beccles Medical Centre where my 98 year old mother is registered. Ages answering the phone and dreadful music while waiting! Told twice that she is on the list for a home visit today but on phoning the district nurses with another long wait on the phone to be told it would be the next day. So frustrating. Not surprised people head to A&E with minor health issues.

Extremely rude receptionist on telephone call. My daughter 3 year old daughter had been running a high temp and headache and issues with light, obviously we all are aware of these symptoms, so now taking her to hospital as waited more than 4 hours for doctors to phone back. For then only to be spoken down too by a receptionist. Total disgrace of a person, to speak to a worried parent in that way. Steer clear of this practice and those working within its the practice. Maybe this is why hospitals and healthcare is on its knees, would rather use my national insurance money paying these people, into my own insurance, for private healthcare. That way I wouldn't have to pay someone to be rude down the phone to my family. Disgusting disgrace.

Virtually impossible to see a GP. The new Patchs system simply doesn't work. Not being able to make a request out of office hours for "efficient" response. Wait for Monday 0700hrs and they are at capacity....try again later. same results 0900, 1100 etc Attended in person and receptionist says she can't/ won't help. What if no internet...."but you have". Total disfunction. Wish I was a dog as I would get seen by a vet rather than be left untreated

This is without doubt the worst GP practice I have every known...can't speak to anyone..get cut off once in a queue for an hour on phone...wait for over four days for an on-line responce.
Terrible level of service and hospital's wonder why people go straight to a and e...if I could of left no stars I would of...

If I could give zero stars I would but you have to give at least one. Booking online is nigh on impossible and it is almost impossible to get through to anyone, average wait time is around 45 minutes, don't even bother trying on a Monday and then when you do get through all you get is a call back, but no actual time for when this will happen. From this call you are then invariably referred to another service who get don't get back to you for many weeks. I am sure it is a very difficult environment they work in but other surgeries in the area it so much better, there is no follow up and certainly no care in the community. Where their official rating of 'Good' comes from is beyond me and I tried to find a way of raising an official complaint but can't find a link anywhere on their website.

The systems in place to contact the practice are appalling. 2 HOURS and 7 minutes in the phone queue Monday to be cut off at one in the queue. Second time over an hour to get through, this is not acceptable and the sytem is not fit for purpose. You cant even book appointments so why so long? Website booking only open working hours so no good if you work and have no access to the internet. God help old folk who have no clue about computers. See why people just go to Aand E.

Dreadful service.
Usually approaching an hour's holding on the phone to talk to anyone.
Sometimes a telephone appointment to deal with the matter is 'awarded' weeks away when you need it now.
Regular inability to book repeat prescriptions EVEN ONLINE as the system has reached capacity - how can a computerised system reach capacity?
Insufficient front desk staff often resulting in ridiculously long queues - no provision made for those who can't stand there for half an hour.
It is shonky services like this that compel people to visit A & E in desperation for reltively minor matters which is why A & E is overwhelmed.
Own goal NHS.
