Went today to put in prescription and closed for staff training. They are overrun with patients it would not be so bad if staff training improved attitudes. Have been with this practice for years. Reception staff play portal holders to extremes. They ask a lot of personal questions about your condition. Most people do not contact GP unless got a real problem. 3 weeks on average to get appointment. My son seriously unwell today. Reception as usual bad condescending bad attitude. Consider changing doctors but all reviews have receptionist problems

Terrible!
The receptionist think the ringing is in their head and don't bother with the phone after 9:30. If you do get them on the phone, forget seeing a doctor for at least 2 weeks, even if its an emergency appointment you have asked for and don't want to disclose the reason why.
I have been with this surgery my whole life and very rarely see them because they make me feel as though nobody really wants to help. The doctors are good when you finally get to see them but the whole system had annoyed you so much by then that it means very little.

Excellent service. The receptionists are patient, efficient, and really good at dealing with any issues. The 3 doctors I've met from there are friendly, sensitive, empathetic and intelligent.

Its nearly impossible to get through to anybody on the phone and when you're in dire need of medications. In respect to myself Ashtma pumps. They make you wait almost 2 weeks to get an appointment. You wouldn't imagine they were a caring and concerned authority, especially with the current health crisis

Very disappointed 😞. I called for appointment but instead of giving me appointment recitation give me advice what to do .
I think everyone has Dr. Degree here lol.
This is extremely unprofessionalism.

The manager tess and the receptionist Wallace would not let my brother go in and use the toilet he is a cancer patient how rude they are I wouldn't even give them a one star if I could post this without having to press on one

It's been several times already that we don't get any help from them. I wonder if there's a point for all of us to maintain a service that has proven useless. They are unable to diagnose or provide a treatment for minor temporary conditions. You have to wait until your condition gets worse, then go with your kids to the out of hours in Royal Infirmary, where they really care and solve the problem. Sadly, this is how we are getting used to deal GP consultations. Shame

I had my first appointment today with physician associate D Taylor which was timely. I wasn’t sure of the skills of a physician associate but found him to be very knowledgeable, professional and he provided a thorough and accurate diagnosis with proper follow-up treatment.
