Johnsons The Cleaners

Have tried to collect kingsize duvet 3 times.
First 2 times I got fed up waiting in the queue whilst they told the customer at the front that they had lost their dry cleaning.
3rd Time they haven't got a record of my duvet coming back and said they would call the cleaners today and then call me back.
As I have heard nothing from them today I rang them, they told me that they were waiting to hear back so I asked if they would ring them back find out where the duvet is and then call me back !!
Totally unorganised, bags of dry cleaning everywhere, staff are not proactive and move in slow motion.
Once they have resolved my issue I will be making sure that anyone thinking of using their services think again

I phoned in advance and was quoted £6 For a wash and fold and told it would be ready the next day. When I arrived at the store, I was told it would actually be £15, so I accepted reluctantly.

Shortly after leaving I received a call to say that my shirts would have to be washed separately and it would cost me an extra £10. When I returned to the store to collect the things I couldn’t afford to get washed, the price of the extra shirts had increased again to £20, and that they wouldn’t be ready until next week.

I won’t be using Johnson’s again, and would hugely discourage anyone from using them unless they are very rich and very patient.

Terrible result, my duvet wasn't clean it was as i brought! Let down with the service. When i collect it today at 17.15pm lady there didn't want to take cash cos she cashed up, I asked if she was closing now, thinking was too late, and she said at 18.00, I didn't understand why she asked me to pay on card but... anyway I paid it. I arrived home and when I opened the bad... Terrible surprise, duvet seems as it not even clean at all, I called this lady to tell her at 17.50, and I told her was me and I wasn't happy with my duvet and instead to apologise or to offer to clean it again, she told me straight away, they are closing at 18, I don't know why if still is 10 minutes to speak to me, she was really impolite, I couldn't believe her awful customer service so I told her I would like my money back and she said they open at 9, obviously she was in a rush to close down and she wasn't interest at all in my problem. When I hung up,I remember i disnt ask her name and I called again at 17.55 and she didn't answer anymore. I don't recommend to anybody to take any product there after this result and manners.

I walk in the newly refurbished MAX johnsons store and I'm not greeted. Hi I say. Stood in front of photo machine. I ask can you take contactless payments? I'm responded with why do you want. I reply to use the photo machine. So I ask again do you take contactless payments?? She replied what do you want? Simple question? I think so .Great service by great people? Perhaps.. just not here.. go to an independent you pay more perhaps but you'll get better service.

I took a king size duvet and padded under sheet and armchair cushion cover in to be Dry cleaned on a Monday at 11am... I was texted at 4.30 to say the first 2 were ready and then at 2.30 the next day a text to say the cushion cover was done...now that is service!!

Supposed to clean pair curtains after dog peed up one...came back smelling the same & still had sweet mark from kids on it so clearly not even cleaned, just pressed!! Complained & was fed a load of waffle & given my money back!!

I worked here a few years ago I certainly wouldn't recommend it. The trainer told me I was to old to learn anything also made to sweep up cigarette buts when I didn't smoke why the others sat and had coffee. Sometimes had to work six days a week and they didn't take an abuse complaint seriously

Johnson's did an excellent job on our laundry. One shirt had blood on it and they got every trace out! I also want to acknowledge the outstanding service provided by Chloe. She was very helpful and highly professional.
