I just visited wash and sew, travelled half an hour to get there. Upon arrival I asked if they had insurance, as I wanted £1,000 dresses to be altered, and I wanted to know I was safe I’d anything happened as accidents do happen.

The man immediately became aggressive, asking me why I wanted to know if they had insurance, then became very rude, told me to leave and that he wouldn’t do it. I’ve left the shop crying because of how horrible he has been to me, simply for asking if they had insurance to cover my very expensive and very special dress.

This place is a quick bus ride, or not that long of a walk from the town center. The minumum charge is 15 pounds in cash for washing/folding. I could have gotten the clothes back the same day, but didn't want to rush around, so I picked them up the next day. The owner was really nice and helpful. Good service. also, after reading the reviews of the self serve laundy places in town, I didn't want to take a chance on broken machines that are overpriced. It's easier to let someone else do this stuff while you are traveling if you can afford to do it. It allowed me to explore the town more instead of waiting for clothes to dry. I would recommend this place

Wash and sow are absolute superstars. I needed a two piece suit dry cleaned over the bank holiday weekend and they accepted the job without hesitation even though it meant they had to come in on their day off. Would 100% recommend to anyone in the neighborhood.

Came in to get a small hole stitched back up in the arm/shoulder of my jacket, upon arriving the next day the tailor let me know that the reason the hole appeared is because the arm was held together with a single stitch, not only did he repair the issue but he also reattached the arm of my jacket with a double stitch therefore improving the quality of my jacket, couldn’t of given better service if he tried! Will only be coming here for alterations now on.

Best price around Oxford for exceptional service! Took a suit for dry cleaning to them and needed it quickly— they exceeded my expectations and had it ready before my pickup date. Owners are very pleasant and friendly so all around a 5-star experience. Would definitely recommend and return for future services!

Useless really rude service with no apparent knowledge of what service they can offer or pickup times. Also the person on duty couldn’t read which was an additional complication to his massive attitude problem. Avoid!

I had a great experience with those guys! I literally run out of time and I brought over there a dress and a shirt which I needed the day after for a Wedding. In less than 24h they were able to help me and solve my situation. Also, the men in charge was super nice and polite.

5 stars more than deserved.
