Johnsons The Cleaners

Brutal customer experience here. Cleaning wasn't delivered on time and when sub par service was provided, no compensation was offered. I was given vouchers for future visits which require more money to be spent. That's not real compensation in my books.

A service providing business has terms which are promised to their customers. When these are violated, they aren't entitled to profit from the transaction.

Took wedding dress here, they did a reasonable job. No damage to dress, some dirty marks remain in skirt. Due to a mix up they lost our veil and gave us someone else's in error. Once this was bought to their attention the manager made it his business to resolve the situation and kept us well informed.

Very disappointed! Lady called Dami was pretty polite ,told one thing from three will be for free. Instead of this we paid nearly £60 for 2 coats and a dress which should have been for free. (usually the price for the coat is 7,45) She lied to our faces and didn't give a receipt.
I do not know whether she took the money for herself or it is just a bad service.

I have recently taken some curtains for dry cleaning. I found the service very good even though relatively expensive. The curtains were very well cleaned, ready for collection on time, staff member serving me very polite and helpful. Because the curtains were heavy, he offered to carry them to the car for me. Overall I’m really happy with the whole experience.

Customer service very poor. After waiting for 13 minutes to be served I was then served by a Lady with the black/grey short curly hair who displays on her badge that she has been there since 1998. She has the most foul attitude ever! Huffs and puffs when finding your items then slams your receipt on the desk - time for her to retire i think or stick to back office duties, but she definitely shouldn't be customer facing.

Because of her bad attitude I ended up taking my business next door to American Dry Cleaners. Johnsons were 30p cheaper than American dry cleaners however you get what you pay for and I'd rather pay 30p more at American for much a better customer service and attitude from the staff.

When they had a special offer I took advantage but when I went to collect was told I needed to declare the offer when I took the items in! They wouldn't accept that the offer was still on - madness - go next door

Explained that I wanted an evening gown repleted, the proprietor seemed to understand the task paid £38 on collecting checked the bottom of the packaging to see pleats, so presumed the whole dress was done… went to ware it and unfortunately it had only been pleated at the bottom of the gown! Very disappointed
