The service here is excellent, friendly, reliable and good value for money. I've also used their repair services - to fix a strap on a handbag and a zip on a coat. Really pleased to have this family business down the road!

Got a suit jacket sleeve alteration at this place. Extremely disappointed with the results. I asked them very clearly when I dropped off the jacket to make sure the buttons and stitching would look the same. As can be seen from the photo the stitching looks very different and the attached a completely different button. The scarring from where the previous button was is also very evident.
If you cannot deliver the service as discussed DECLINE to do the work or at least phone me to discuss in advance before completely ruining my jacket.
And to make matters worse they charge me the full £30!! (£30 for a good job would already be very steep!)

Rang up to see if they could do a quick turnaround on a couple of suits on a Saturday afternoon and within two hours they had called me to collect. Great service, really friendly and extremely good value. Will definitely be returning.

Took in a heavy winter coat and a pair of jeans to get the zips repaired on both. Reasonable price (£7 for the jeans, £25 for the coat : £32 total). Took around a week to get done. Zips were well matched for colour and size to the clothes. They did a good job, with two slight folds on the coat zip, and some leftover stitching from the old zips which wasn't removed (but can easily be pulled out) - pictured.

Service with a smile and they really helped me out in an emergency - 24hr turn around!

I needed an urgent repair to a dress for a special occasion and the staff here were able and very happy to accommodate the request.

Really lovely staff and it’s great that this shop offers repairs onsite rather than having to send them away.

I took two coats to this place one for a small underarm stitch and on for a full zip replacement. I was told but the staff it would take a week and be ready the following Saturday. On the day I thought I’d call before I set off to collect my items. When I called I was told the the costs were still not ready as they needed to order a zip. I asked why didn’t you update me with this information as I left my number for you to contact me about any issues. The member of staff then became very rude to me, stated they are very stressed and didn’t have time to complete. Am much as I can empathise I have paid for a service with a collection time they had told me. I was then told to give them two more days and it will be done. When I arrived to collect my coats they were completely ruined. The coat with the zip replacement was completely damaged, the stitching was so poor and for some reason buttons had gone missing. The 2nd coat hadn’t even been cleaned I’m even though u had paid for this service and again the stitching was very poor. I asked why this was the case and another member of staff explained the other staff member shouldn’t have taken this job on as they have never done a zip replacement before. At this point I was furious as they just wanted to take my money when they didn’t have the credentials to repair the coat. I was then told to leave my two coats with them again for another week. When I arrived they tired the vets they could to amend the terrible job they did at the start but still wasn’t great as that cost had holes and marks left form the previous terrible work. The fact that I have to pay £45 for this is disgusting and they didn’t even offer to reimburse my money or offer a discount. Never again will I be using them

Had some large curtains made and lined here, they did a great job, very happy.
