Maids Daily

Horrible experience and certainly the strangest company I have ever had the displeasure of hiring.

I had my first clean booked at 3pm on the 24th October 2018, only for the cleaner to arrive 4 hours earlier at 11am (while I was still at work). Maids Daily explained they arrived earlier without notifying me to help address any concerns or issues I may have with the cleaning service. I was still not happy with the wasted time and unhappy that I was not informed beforehand. Nevertheless, I accepted the explanation and scheduled another clean the following Thursday. I also arranged to work from home with my company in order to sign the contract and evaluate the cleaning service.

On Thursday 1st November 2018, the cleaner arrived in a timely manner; she seemed polite and helpful and provided me with a contract to sign. There was some initial confusion around the contract terms because it was not made clear I would still have to commit to a notice period, even if I was not happy with the service. I accepted that these were the contract terms and proceeded to sign the contract. The cleaner then received a call from Maids Daily, took the contract from me (unsigned) and then abruptly left my property without any explanation whatsoever. To repeat, the cleaner just walked out of my house and told me to call Maids Daily for an explanation.

I immediately called Maids Daily and explained what just happened. After placing me on hold for a few minutes, they subsequently explained that they were busy and that I would be called later. It is now 2pm and I have still not received a call.

I cannot leave a review for cleaning quality because I did not have one. Maids Daily are an upsetting reminder that it is often small businesses that treat people the most poorly and without any regard for the inconvenience they cause. I would strongly advise that you find a professional company.
