Mendip Weather

I ordered the Oregon Remote Raingauge from Mendip as it was available from their website and not from the Oregon site direct. Placed the order and was delivered safely two days later as required. No hassle and the company has able answer a minor query over the phone very efficiently. Happy to deal with them again or recommend them to others.

Best value that I found on line (in this country). As the product I required is American and has a 'UK' version, I thought it best to stay with the UK. I already have one of these weather machines (Davis, Vantage Vue) and they are excellent. The efficiency of this company seem to match the quality of this product, i.e. first class. Quick delivery, well packaged. Thank you. Will be using you again.

Purchased a Vantage Vue a month ago and it developed a fault - Contacted Mendip Weather who were VERY helpful. Upgraded to Vantage Pro and collected from shop. All good, plus they ALWAYS call me back, maybe not the same day but they always do! I would recommend this company!!

Absolutely no customer service. I ordered a Davis Weather Station online with express delivery (1-2 day delivery). My credit card account was debited but I have not received the order which shows up on their system as processing. No reply from the telephone and no response from customer service chat/email system. I have now taken up with my credit card company for refund. AVOID!

I recently purchased the Davis Vantage Pro2 Plus Weather Station from Mendip Weather. I found it a positive experience and they kept me up to date with my order. Reading some of the negative reviews, I feel this is a specialist retail sector with high value kit. It is understood that running a small business is all about cash flow and they’re not going to have lots of high value stock sat around on a shelf in a warehouse awaiting a buyer. In my humble opinion, some people perhaps need to be a more realistic and better manage there own expectations when dealing with small businesses and stop comparing buying goods on the internet with the big corporations. I will certainly be using Mendip Weather again in the future.

Disastrous customer service. I agreed a discounted price for ordering multiple items. After ignoring calls and emails for a week they let me know that they have changed their mind about the discount. The claim was, if they offered a discount they would lose money on the item!

Steer Clear - They took my payment for goods shown as "available to order" - a trick. Order confirmation shows goods on back-order. Emailed them but no response, in fact the email address in the order confirmation was to another unrelated business, emailed them on their website email address. Phoned on a few occasions over 2 working days but no answer and the answering machine message is a generic recording not even mentioning it's a business. Had my money but has not responded to emails, phone-calls, social media. Looks like I'll have to start a PayPal dispute, as I don't believe this is a credible business. Note: I see they claim to have a customer service department in some of the complaints here, seriously?

I placed an order on the 4th of December for a min/max thermometer. I've had no updates about when this may or may not be sent. No one answers the phone, however they did get back to me and sort via email.
This was meant to be a Christmas present and I've had to cancel the order.
Items take too long to be delivered.
