Electrade 247 Ltd

Tried to purchase using a credit card. Received a mail to say that technical difficulties with the credit card merchant being experienced. Request for payment to be made by bank transfer. No reply to online chat. Have requested payment via PayPal for purchase protection but no reply received as yet. Have a bad feeling about this - really want a Dyson Handheld - can't believe this is so difficult! Disappointed and feel v unsafe with this company.

Something not adding up here. Purchased a couple of items, using a credit card, but then had an email to say they are experiencing technical difficulties with the online credit card merchant as a result of that, all payments are been manually processed via Bank Transfer.
Something very dodgy ! NO response, to emails, phone calls or online chat.
Plus all reviews posted in the last week... would avoid.

Think they may have gone bust. The web site is still active but they dont respond to emails or calls and their online chat is perminantly offline. Had an email as others stating they cant process card payments and requesting bank transfer. Not sure its a scam but certainly not something I would recommend doing when purchasing online so I declined their kind offer. Nothing since but my order still shows pending after 3 weeks?

There's something odd going on here, trading for 22 years but all reviews written in the last week? I tried to buy something and wanted to use PayPal so that I was protected, the PayPal symbol is all over the website but no option to use it, just space to put in your credit card details. And no one replies on the customer support. I wasn't able to place my order in the end, but maybe that's a good thing...

Same as everyone else.. "bought" a fridge freezer then got an email asking for a bank transfer as card machine down. This stinks of fraud as no protection compared to visa chargeback. AVOID! - oh and they said 'we sincerely hope to read from you soonest'. …. even English company??

and all the 4 and 5 * reviews below are from those that only have left 1 review... yet the 1* are from mostly experienced reviewers.. fake reviews too?

I attempted to purchase a mobile phone thought Electrade 247 Ltd website but as others have I was sent an email saying that they were having problems with credit card payments. So paid via Bank Transfer. I tried to cantact them serveal times over several days but got nowhere. After doing some research I have found out that their website is not legit!!! Fortunately my bank refunded me the money.

As others have said, something fishy about this place. Ordered something on Friday received an email to say issues with Card Merchant and can the item be paid for using bank transfer. They will not answer calls, emails or live chats. Stay clear as said previously all reviews are within the past week!

It's a scam. Not sure what sort of but I think they have hijacked the company's name. Ordered a drone 17 days ago and they claimed to have problems with their online merchant so they asked for a bank transfer. Unfortunately for me, I fell for it and now I'm 500 pounds down and with no drone. O spoken to them on several occasions, always the same bloke with African accent answering the phone and telling me the same lies. Stay away from them.
