the service it really depend on who you dealing with. the receptionist isn't of good help at all giving wrong info to customers, also have a bad attitude the minute you say I don't speak tigrinya(which is shameful, language it is important, i do reckon but that doesn't make you right to treat other as if we're stupid!) Anyway, also the cashier is not the best person to help with the same poor manners, i mean the minute you walk in you are been judge because you don't speak the language, you try to be polite but all you get cold shoulders and sometime disrespect. On the other hand the people at the back office (ie Consular and admin team, are the opposite of the people who works at the front. They supportive and help you out as much as possible, giving you right info and dealing with your stuff with professionalism. The management really need to evaluate his staff giving a proper training on how to deal with the public effectively or even better get some new fresh young people to be of help and strive for success. Overall it is a disappointing place.

My problem is, everytime I call the embassy to make an apointment, one women who ask me what I wantalways becomes very rude within a second that's before I explain why I am calling about, why is it so easy to some people to disrespect Eritrean who are entitled to have a say?
Im going first thing on Monday in person to complain (it's my embassy too). I'm Eritrean, I can not let person like that represent Eritrea in UK.
There are lots of young British Eritreans who would love to have work experince at an office job, let them help.

First of all I would like to say the receptionist has no manners and talking Costomer’s in a rude way.i was trying to apply a visa to go back home.Once I get there I was told I have to book an appointment but I have been calling to the embassy to book an appointment 4 days in a row it was ringing but receptionist was putting the phone on hold.It wasn’t only me some one else had the same problem.I can understand she could have been working under pressure but when I was at the embassy there was only 2 people in line waiting to be served.I wouldn’t mind to book an appointment and come the next day but the the responses that I was getting from her is really unacceptable.She needs to put smile on her face.If she is not happy with her job am sure there is a lot of young people that would love to do the job.I hope the management take an action in this concern thanks.

They don’t even answer the phone so you can’t deal with anyone from the embassy, it is a joke.

So this is my first ever visit to the embassy. I had great experience and positive vibes from everyone. Specially the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There were few issues with the phone connections, which caused a bit of delays. However, staff were extremely keen to help and facilitate the process.

I had amazing experience visiting Eritrean embassy.
All the staff were supportive and friendly. They provid professional services to everyone.

I have tried to call to ask some questions about travelling to Eritrea but the receptionist keeps putting my call on hold and hung right there while I was trying to explain why I was calling. This is ridiculous there must be some adjustments to this. If they are busy or they cannot answer the phone they should say it in a professional manner.
