excellent opticians. They have always catered for my needs. Glasses are affordable and high quality. The two younger girls are very welcoming, siobhan and holly. would highly recommend.

Worst places I’ve ever been, very rude Customer service and racist, never again shame on you..!

Awful - extremely rude, abrupt and unhelpful from the moment I stepped inside the door.

Having recently collected a pair of prescription sunglasses from another store, it wasn't until I got them home (and put my glasses on) that I noticed one of the lenses didn't fit and had a gap in the bottom..
Not wanting to do another 30 mile round trip to correct their mistake by dropping them off and going back a fourth time to collect them, again(!) I visited Coalville instead..

The place was empty with not one customer in sight
I politely explained what was wrong to the young woman at the till, when one extremely rude woman next to her barked at me "What's the problem!? without so much as a 'Hello'.
Having repeated that the lenses don't fit she went out of her way to find excuses.. After her hoity-toity complaints that they would never have accepted them like that in the first place, she presumably tried to place the blame with me by asking how long I've had them, and why I was in there..

Her lack of help then settled on the excuse that their systems are completely different to every other Boots Opticians in the land. So I was forced to do another 30 mile round trip.. only to be told by the (polite and helpful) assistant manager there that (as I suspected) they could have indeed helped me! She further explained they themselves deal with orders from local and non-local opticians and she couldn't understand why they didn't want to help..

I guess they wanted to go back to chatting amongst themselves for the last 1.5hrs until closing....

A really friendly and welcoming service. All staff were lovely, my appointment was on time and the optician was very helpful, answering all my questions and settling my worries. Thank you.

Best glasses I’ve had in 30 years All the staff ( especially Kate) were brilliant so friendly helpful and knowledgeable Very honest about what suited me when I was trying to select new frames and couldn’t see very well without my prescription glasses on I am very grateful for the help and shall definitely go back to Kate

They have a good quality range of frames to choose from and the staff are helpful as you would expect. Their pricing structure could be more transparent as the advertised price is misleading and always increased by the up selling of various add ons. Be prepared to pay more than the advertised price. Quite a lot more.

Very good service no rush, helped out with trying on glasses and eye test was easy and straight forward.
