Boots Opticians

Bought my first pair of glasses here 3 years ago. Very nice expensive titanium frames and I looked after them. Recently got an offer of a free eye test from them so went along and had test. Slight change in eyes so was told I would need new glasses. I offered to leave my expensive frames for them to renew the lenses. I was told I'd need to pay for new frames too. Absolutely nothing wrong with the frames. Didn't take me long to realise what a con it was. Walked out and would never go back...

Very bad customer service. The staff had no computer reference of my previous visit. Also, blamed me for a break which happened in the shop. The girl who insisted on telling me she told me it was there when I brought it in and who claims she was the one who gave me the pair back, was not even the one who waited on me when I picked them up. I am convinced the staff broke the lens trying to push in into new frames. One lady admitted she had trouble with this and spent 20 minutes trying to get the lens into the frame. Then, the manager insisted I pay for the new lens. The lens was not broken when I brought the glasses into the shop, only the frames. I shall never go back to that shop again. Not the usual excellent customer service I have received for years in Boots Opticians. I am sorry to write such a negative review, but this was terrible customer service.

Rudest member of staff ever! Optician lovely but the staff member abrupt and unsympathetic. So much so decided to take prescription and order glasses on line. Very toxic environment extremely poor customer service.

What an amazing store. The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Michelle, the optometrist, was brilliant at putting my mind at ease and helping me understand the problem that I was having with my eye today. I would highly recommend.

I was so horrified by the way I was treated by the staff at boots optician in Eltham that I hope the managers that hire these staff take note on what I have to say.
There was a lady behind the desk and another lady sitting at a desk (both staff).

We asked if we could make an appointment for my husband’s eyes to be tested, but they said they were busy with customers and fully booked. This was not the case. They didn’t even bother to check if there was availability and judging by their faces they didn’t want us there.

Whoever is hiring these women is wasting good money because we wanted to spend good money in this Eltham opticians but these Opticians were only keen to go home.

We don’t expect red carpet treatment but a bit of courtesy would go well.

I don't know why people have had a bad experience, I found the staff really good, nice and professional.

Been a customer for a few years now. Always get excellent service. Staff are very knowledgeable and attentive and caring. Went to collect my new glasses today. Lucy was excellent.
Keep up your high standards ladies.

Had an eye exam there which was very thorough and results explained well. No pressure to purchase glasses and the staff were friendly.
