Took my son to the opticians last year, he is 9 years old. I mentioned that he may have been a suspect for high intraocullar pressure. My concern was not taken into consideration. Instead they did all the normal eye checks except for his eye pressures. Fast forward 8 months later, I bought my own tonometer because I have recently been diagnosed with Glaucoma. Tested my son's eyes with with and his pressures are extremely high 23 left eye and 29 right eye.
The facility should take parents concerns seriously.

I switched to this boots opticians branch as the one I was previously going to no longer opens on Sundays which is the only day I could do. I’ve given two stars because they wanted to charge me £10 to STAMP a form. My company can reimburse the cost of glasses depending on what they are prescribed for. I needed a stamp, signature and a box ticked and they wanted to charge me £10. My old branch didn’t do this which makes means that charging isn’t boots protocol and that this branch is trying to make extra money off its customers.

It’s quite a bad service. The staff are nice but they are understaff constantly. The phone just rings. When someone picks up, they are as confused as me, nothing gets recorded correctly. It should not take months to book an eye check. When I explained this to the opticians, they claimed it was because of covid restrictions even though the government has lifted them. I do understand but it does not excuse the lack of service. I’m literally moving opticians because I’ve been waiting since January to complete a Lenses trial.

I've been to an eye exam twice because I saw fog on my right eye. No disease was found. Only the ophthalmologist diagnosed cataracts. I do not recommend

Went today to replace 9 year old daughters worn out glasses was told they couldn’t access her information and could only be done so by the Ealing branch. Was then told that she would have to wait until June to get an appointment and new glasses.
Called Ealing and they were able to give us an appointment for next week.
Wouldn’t go to Hounslow again, very unhelpful staff.
