Appalling phone service. Tried ringing through for a prescription request for my mum and spent nearly an hour in a 'queue' on the line, wasting my credit, whilst systematically being told I was #1 in line. They never answered, and my mum can't get to the surgery to see someone due to age-related issues. I am disgusted by this and my mum's condition continues to worsen, except it's not considered serious enough to be a hospital issue.

I have only been with this surgery for 3 weeks and they are amazing. Receptionists and doctors are so friendly and helpful

Really is a poor surgery. From my experience, this surgery doesn’t cater for the working man/woman. When booking an appointment you must call and wait in a queue (explain that to your boss), from recent experience, I spent over one hour in the queue only to be told all the appointments were booked for that day. Most of the staff on reception ask you to call back the next day to get an appointment (good luck!), how this is acceptable is beyond me. They clearly have too many patients, which must benefit the bosses bonus at the end of the year.
Will be changing surgery soon, or just die waiting for an appointment.

Both Hughes and King failed to understand my problem and both inferred that I was malingering. Years later I find they were wrong and chose to bully me for their failure. Don't trust them. They are bad doctors. They ruined my life for over a decade.

3rd in the queue for over an hour! Unfortunately I work so can't stay on the phone all day! Need a midwife appointment but can't get one... never seen her anyway so do I really need her? Not happy I'm paying for a service I can't receive!

Appalling doctors surgery. Absolutely terrible in every way. Takes over an hour to get through on the phone, that's if they don't cut your call off when you finally get to first in line. Rude receptionists and incompetent, arrogant doctors who clearly care a whole lot more about their pay check than the patients.
I've had to sit there and have doctors tell me things I know for a fact are medically incorrect, like telling me taking omeprazole will stop me having a severe reaction to codeine (even though codeine is down as a medication I CANNOT TAKE on my medical record). I know this isn't true and taking omeprazole would not stop the reaction, but they refused to prescribe me anything else and I was in agony. I took the codeine and ended up in A&E from taking it. And that's just one of MANY examples of how poorly I've been treated at this surgery.
I've been to some really bad doctors surgeries over the years, but I've never experienced anything like this, Clark Avenue really take the biscuit. It really is THE WORST DOCTORS SURGERY EVER!! Please DO NOT REGISTER HERE!
Health care??? They don't care at all!

Absolutely shocking service today! I understand the business after the holidays but when you are in a que and are number 40 on the phone, spending 2 hours only to get to position 10 and it counts down so suddenly. Then get to number one and they end the call...if you have run out of appointments then just answer and say so. We almost never use the doctors but this time was needed. I guess the elderly hypochondriacs have done it again. I bet the doctors don't have a clue what tricks the receptions get up too

Pity you cannot give a zero.
Twice recently we had occasion to call the surgery, both times over an hour in the queue, from place 7, and 3.
With the 3, finally to be told no more appoinments left that day, phone tomorrow.
With the 7. I had time to drive to the surgery, wait in the queue, finally answered by the Hatch, when i complained i was still on phone, waiting at no 2. I was told the phone was not ringing, and no noise was heard, i believe it was turned off, or down low to stop the disturbance.
Finally i could ask for a blood test, ( as per doctor's request) only to be given a date one month ahead!!
You cannot print what i thought of the service.
Not at all happy with the service, and it appears they are advertising for new patients, its a joke.
