Receptionists are utter rude, I rang 8 o'clock this morning with suspected bronchitis I also suffer with asthma tight chest finding it hard to breathe on top of being pregnant and coughing my guts up every 5 minutes and in agony from coughing so much I've rang the gp 3 times asking when I will be contacted by a doctor to be told I have up to 6:30 to be spoken to by a doctor baring in mind it's now 3 oclock and I have kids I have to attend to now there finished school. Receptionist was very unprofessional and arrogant. Not helpful at all, it's the worste gp surgery lately. Please do upgrade your staff at the desk for someone with manners and someone who doesn't think there doctors personally..

Should have moved surgery a long time ago when they didn't diagnose the cancer i had. Googled the symptoms myself then arranged my own screening. Had to do this as when I tried to see a Doctor and told the receptionist I knew it was Bowel cancer she said "nothing to do with us call bowel screening and hung up! Doctors should be ashamed to call them selves doctors at this place. Almost died thanks to their incompetence. Nearly every time I needed a prescription or sick note they messed up.
All the receptionist at the practice need to realise the customers are generally ill, worried and scared for all sorts of reasons and when they get angry it is because of the terrible service the get from you all. Please stop telling lies and stop shrugging your shoulders when being talked too!

And yes NHS complaint being written

I have been a patient of this gp for about 10 years and I am not able to find a single positive. After the change of owner, I can only say that it is even worse. For several months I have been struggling with atrial fibrillation, I have asthma and I have degenerative changes in the shoulder and upper spine which is very painful. Most of the diseases were diagnosed privately because the doctors from the GP could not do it. After the last visit, the doctor said that because I am 51 years old then such changes are normal and she can not help me, Generally disgusting approach to the patient, waste of time in seeking help from these doctors

receptionists are lovely apart from one who has red hair mid aged woman who seems to be very rude and unhelpful and takes over everything. Allot on the neighbourhood apps moan about the staff but its just the same few, not sure why they work there, they work with the vunerable and shouldnt be there if they are rude all the time and unhelpful.Life is too hard and too short to be miserable and rude. We are all hoping that they under the new management these people will be got rid of as its a lovely surgery otherwise! vet the staff a bit more.. she lets the whole place down.

The staff struggle to provide a comprehensive service to the huge amount of people in the catchment area. The car park is near and easy to access. The medical staff have a very strict regime for consultations and meticulous appointment time keeping. The main point of contact are the practice nurses. Appointment calls are not customer focused and a delay of more than ten minutes jeporddies the appointment. The issuing of medication is very strictly controlled. The databases are seldom updated with the latest version of results and the emphasis is on the patient to remember all the treatments verbatim.

Really impressed with the change for the better at St Bride's Medical Centre. Friendly and helpful reception staff which got me an emergency appointment to see a nurse. It was such a relief and pleasure to go there yesterday. Thank you, keep up the good work

I have been a patient in this practice for over 5 years now and comparing to other practices I am saddened to find time and write a negative feedback myself. I have had many painful phone conversations with staff and I found them to be rude and dismissive. Process they follow is one thing but tonality and attitude expressed is another and I feel this is the main issue within this practice. It's great that someone reads the feedback given however unless a step back is taken and reflection is given nothing is ever going to change and your service will continue being poor. I appreciate there are 6500 people to provide care for but this can still be done with some decent mannerism and politeness and respect. Having read the other reviews the general tone of the issue is consistent, there is a problem with your staff attitude and it should be addressed. I only rang for some results this afternoon and the person I was speaking to was very abrupt and rude. Unfortunately yet again I can't say I am surprised as that is what you get in this practice. And I am terribly sorry to say that as I do not take it lightly to write such review. I hope whoever reads this from the practice will seriously consider these reviews and on balance makes a reasonable decision.

Left here about 20 and have just managed to calm down a panic attack. I was told that i Have to wear a mask, i told her i was exempt, she said it does not matter if you are exempt you have got to wear one in here like everyone else, i have to protect myself and the patients. I have not had an issue since changing to these here but i donot have to feel forced by anyone to wear a mask especially those who do not know my reasons for being exempt in th. Next time i need myprescription il send my husband over instead of myself
