Amazing food even on a limited menu. Lovely staff who are very friendly even with all the new social distancing guidance. Highly recommend! Good portion sizes and really good value especially on the mon-wed Eat Out to Help Out 50% off government scheme!

First meal in the Lake District. Would be better with a bake potato as an option. The Pina colada was a let down would be willing to share my secret ingredient if asked. Ms. Jade did an amazing job waiting the table. Very pleased with her service. Thank you very much

Had breakfast here as we were staying at the Premier Inn. Pre booked and pre paid!!
The worst breakfast I have ever not eaten. Scrambled egg was more like chopped up fried egg, bacon dripping in grease and over cooked. Next day tried the continental breakfast, but was just pastries.- toaster didn't work. The waitresses didn't even ask if the food was ok.

Love the food. Great choice. Polite staff with not much of waiting time for your meal come. So what's not to like. Would recommend

Absolutely shocking! A re-heated (in the microwave) cheese & onion pie, from the “Mains” menu….the pie and few bits of veg (no potatoes or chips)…£11.29! Steak and ale pie (again, microwave heated, dried out pastry and nuclear hot interior)…£11.29 WITH mash - guess cheese costs more than steak these days! Requested a quieter table in a corner area, got placed in a cramped area next to a table of 6 that were having their Christmas do, yet other tables were unoccupied. Service was slow, waitress was busy “having to deal with 4 other tables” (the job of a waitress??). 30 minutes wait for the chef to microwave a couple of pies and rustle up a bit of mash. Table on the the other side of the restaurant with loud people, necking booze like it was going out of fashion and allowing their kids to run round the restaurant (one of which was a young lad wearing his mothers high heels! Not the nicest of noises to hear on a solid floor whilst you’re trying to eat your re-heated pie….and veg). So 3 pies, 3 desserts, 3 soft drinks and a headache … £52 please!
There’s a McDonalds over the road…3 meals (includes fries and a drink) and 3 McFlurrys…£26 tops! You’ll get it in around 5-10 mins, and will be cooked from fresh

We had a get-together for 8 people, the staff were attentive and couldn't do enough for our party. The food was nice we had no complaints at all

So disappointed with our meal here on Sunday 12th September. My salad was brown and my partner’s “ultimate filled” Yorkshire Pudding was like the sole of a shoe it was so rubbery and not so ultimately filled. When we expressed our thoughts on the standard of the food, the response we got was “oh…..” and then silence before walking away. We know it’s not the fault of the waiting on team however a little bit of compassion for poor standards would have been appreciated. No one from the senior team came to speak with us following our comments on the food, we were not offered any alternative, or compensation that there was inedible food on our plate. We paid the bill and left. Needless to say, we won’t be returning.

Clean premises but it lacked serving staff. They had the wrong ta me layout so we had to add extra tables. Other than that the food was brilliant. Well cooked and generous portion sizes. The drink choices were vast too. The only thing that could be improved is more staff to bring all the food out at once rather than over a 5min period. Other than that great value for money again.
