Went for Sunday lunch and although the waiting staff were very friendly and helpful, the food itself was dreadful. The beef was too chewy to eat and could barely be cut with a sharp knife, the roast potatoes weren't roast at all and were hard in the middle, the middle of the parsnips were raw, the stuffing was a dry ball of hamster food and there was barely any gravy on the plate. I'm not a fussy eater but I couldn't eat this and left the meal untouched. The waitress didn't ask if anything was wrong with the food so I didn't go out of my way to complain but definitely won't be returning.

Dropped in here on passing, and we were not disappointed.. Friendly and helpful staff always on hand serving tasty and ample food. The premises were clean and inviting, even the toilets were tidy. Good meal out, thank you.

The drinks service was good and was quickly on our table. Our food order was taken quickly but the food took a long time to come. As it was Sunday most of us had the Sunday roast. The roast potatoes were over cooked and hard. The Yorkshire puds cremated. The deserts again took a long time to arrive. Over all it could have been better.

Booked a table there , as we received a 50%offer off the mains. We were told there was a 30 minute wait on cooked food, which was acceptable even thou we booked. Our mains turned up 1hr & ten minutes later, (a party of people turned up after us, and had their meal before us). We asked for a well done steak, but it was pink and bloody. Plate was hot, but unfortunately some of the food was quite cold. In fairness, the waiter was polite and friendly, and did every thing, he could to put it right, so give him 5 star for service if we could.

Food was generally good and would eat here again. But the regular portion of loaded fries was a bit small. Kids meals were good value. Waitress who served us was really pleasant and helpful. It was also a little bit cold in there when we visited

Visited this restaurant for a breakfast over the Christmas period with friends. The location is just off the M4, with plenty of parking available.

The breakfast is unlimited, just ask for what you want. Tea, coffee and juices are out to help yourself and there was cereals and pastries available too.

The food was cooked nicely and very tasty and the atmosphere is cosy.

I would visit again.
