KFC Bluewater - The Wintergarden

I’m a big fan of KFC and in particular their Zinger burger. Well today has shaken my faith. It was awful. Burnt tasting, dry and the chicken ‘fillet’ was around 5-6 mm thick. I’m used to them being chunky and moist, but this was a disaster. I have uploaded a photo, so everyone can see that there is more breadcrumb than chicken. To be honest, half went in the bin. Never again!!

Despite boneless chicken box displayed as being £7.99 I was charged £8.19 and told that the price had gone up! Got to my table and genuinely thought I had the wrong meal as it looked like a child's size. Was told it was correct! Ridiculously small box of popcorn chicken, Measly portion of chips and overcooked very small 3 pieces of chicken strips with tiny pot of beans what a rip off!

Awful system. Waited almost an hour. They have the new order screens in place which should make things easier but they are taking on too much and the staff are too slow. They have delivery companies, collections and order on screens. The screen with order updates doesn't update. People are crowded around waiting. The order arrived wrong, cold, very dry and we watched them get gravy from someone elses bag and put it in ours. None of the staff wear hairnets. The service is shocking. They weren't even doing orders in order. They would randomly call someone forward from the big crowd to look at the receipt and then decide to put the order together. Won't be returning.

I had an awful time today at KFC Bluewater. They put self service tills to speed up the orders but didn’t put more staff inside. They even had to stop to sell so they could catch up with the orders. And the other problem is that they receive the delivery orders there as well and it seems that they have priority. I waited 45 minutes to receive my order (for 2 persons) and it’s supposed to be a fast food place!!!

Not a good experience
On the day we visited the self service points were not working.Its not the first time. The previous occasion we actually bought food from the self service and no receipt came out we never got our food nor our money back.
On this occasion we had to queue for more than 15 min. Don't ask me why we did it . We could have just walked away. The food was unsatisfactory I bought a variety meals for 1. pieces of chicken were small, and The spicy wings were overdone and full of oil. The drink was flat. Just not happy with KFC this time or im going off it.

After waiting 20 mins from order to collection, we finally got our food. The food was nice enough, but the service. Was beyond slow. Unfortunately they are like another well known fast food brand, they take more orders than they can complete in a quick time scale.

Got chicken which was undercooked. it was still pink. Asked for a refund. As i paid contactless they refused my refund via cash. Manager then proceeded to question my age and that i don’t know nothing. To be honest i don’t think age matters. Undercooked food is undercooked. Chicken was also greasy. Both cashiers were rude and incredibly slow. not returning.

I understand its half term.and so it's busy, but after ordering 2 children's meals I waited almost 40 minutes until it was ready. They really were disorganised. They needed to be honest about waiting times as I wouldn't have bothered ordering. The screen said my order was ready a few minutes after ordering which obviously wasn't the case. Disappointing
