Worst McDonald's I've used. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the awful smell. Once ordered, you are left waiting an eternity for food. The staff all look like they're minutes away from ending their lives, and none of them seem to know what they're doing. No milkshakes, no ice cream, no iced drinks on my last visit. Half the menu was also unavailable. It's now been 10 minutes since I ordered and I'm genuinely worried that all the staff have gone home. Nothing seems to be coming out the kitchen. What's with the weird classical music? The crew trainer seems to be as clueless as the trainee when it comes to operating the till. The queue keeps getting bigger. No food is coming out. My food has finally arrived after 14 minutes of waiting for one big Mac meal.

By far the worst McDonald’s I have been in. Ordering breakfast to see I can only have a caramel Latte or flat white nothing else was available. Not sure how this is possible if you have coffee for either of those drinks then you have coffee for the other menu surely. As for the service well I don’t think Iv ever had to wait so long in a ‘fast food’ restaurant when there was only 4 people in there waiting. More interested in Uber and just eat than walk in customers

Poor experience. Not just busy but very slow for been fast food. 30 order behind mine and waiting 15+ minutes for a simple meal. If you want to wait, by all means, otherwise find a better “fast” food joint.

We ordered 4 cheeseburgers and 1 big tasty with bacon and 2 fries.. We choose table service by the way.. So we did wait 20 minutes which is unusual in mcdonald's buut when they finally brought the food all the burgers were cold.. -. - " the only reason why we didn't send it back because we were late already and hungry as well..

Not great, I think this reflected in my first 2 Star review… Service haphazard, meal warm at best, chips half empty.
I will expand on all of that, firstly I arrive and it’s busy, this is to be expected as it’s lunchtime in Guildford and there are lots of school kids in there, so I’m expecting not to get served my meal straight away, whilst ordering I decide to go for a large for value for money.
I stand in the ever expanding queue waiting for my number to be posted on the screen to collect, my number comes up but when I get to the front of the queue they are calling numbers that aren’t even on the board. The only reason I know to wait is because lots of other customers are going up saying they have been waiting a while and their numbers aren’t even on the board. So I can’t blame the staff for this, it’s obviously someone further up the chain that needs to fix the board. It was just causing chaos.
Weirdly because you can’t see the kitchen it makes it more frustrating as you just see people with bags of food walk past you and disappear.
I get my food, before quite a few others, despite customising my burger not to have onions in, which came as a surprise.
I go upstairs and find a table straight away, the tables are clean and there is someone doing a good job of cleaning and making sure the bins are empty etc, this was probably one of the only plus points.
I open my meal to find my chips aren’t full to the brim as usual but 2/3rds maybe full, so not much point going for a large as I definitely wasn’t after the larger Diet Coke.
I open my burger and there is the most measly amount of sauce in which is placed off to one side of the burger, not much point going for the big tasty after all.
Then comes the most disappointing part, the burger is Luke warm at best, which considering it’s a custom burger is also a surprise, the chips are slightly better, but not by much.
I’m not expecting fine dining from a Maccy D’s but this was a very substandard experience. I won’t be going back in a hurry.
Oh and finally, I stated eat in on the ordering machine and it came in a bag, didn’t bother me to much, but worth mentioning.

Absolutely shocking will never go here again and glad I don’t live here and have to use this place quarter pounder was dripping with grease and I mean dripping out the carton. They didn’t even have fries available!!!! Shocking

We ate here in the evening and the dining area was shut so we sat in the window but away from the machines so people could order. A few others did the same. We were then asked by security to move on, they were quite aggressive and we were very offended. We won't go there again on principle. Food was also cold but serving staff were friendly and helpful and replaced the cold item

It is very easy to place orders through the touch screens displayed but it takes ages to get the food delivered. Fries are not crispy and not hot at all. Complained twice and not yet improved. Staffing are not proportion to the number of costumers which makes customers to wait a lot. There are two other McDonald nearby if you go to friary centre, you have faster service and better sitting area
