McDonald's

Absolutely dreadful. Lots of staff, but zero counter presence or attempt at customer service. Placed an order using the electronic board which took almost half an hour to arrive (no real queue to speak of and nothing requiring special order). Staff were more engaged in entertaining each other rather than processing orders which resulted in my burger arriving without a meat patty and my wife's burger being cold. Her replacement was better but in the process her fries were binned and not replaced. No redeeming features to this visit at all.

Small but perfectly formed, the McDonalds M5 northbound has everything you need: hot and tasty food served with a smile.
Feeling healthy, I opted for the garlic mayo grilled chicken wrap and it was lush. The side salad crispy and fresh, the coffee dark and bitter.
Thanks for a great experience and I hope they fix your leaky roof soon.

Perfectly clean and fast service, it was such a walk down memory lane stopping at Taunton Dene, it was one of our pitstops on the way home to Cornwall. Going off the food though, too salty and got cold far too fast but that's just me.

Sooooo busy waited 30 minutes for food!! We know because we only had 40 till our coach! Had to rush our food but the food was delicious tasted very fresh .. staff were slow

It was a stop off point on the way home from our holiday. It was quite late when we arrived, but it was reasonably busy. Food was ok, but my Luxury Hot Chocolate was vile. More like dirty dishwasher. Went to change it, and that was the same, so took it back and exchanged it for Tea instead. Very poor. ☹️😔

Just had a fantastic meal in McDonald's at Taunton Deane Services.

The Big Mac and Double Quarter pounder with cheese was really tasty and the cheese melt nuggets actually we're hit with hit cheese that oozed out which was a great surprise as most of the time we've had these they have been just warm and no melty cheese.

Great staff and s clean seating area. Well done to the staff for a very pleasant meal. If only all McDonald's could be this good.

Confusingly this location doesn't have table service for app orders working properly although the app still let us put in a table order. Staff there were kind enough to eventually go round to ours and another table sitting without food to explain that they couldn't see the table number inputted to the app, the system was only showing them a regular order number but this was of course quite a while after we'd ordered as the food had sat there whilst other people with regular order numbers were collecting their food. Must be a pain for staff having to match up app orders to customers manually! Electronic service very poor, service from staff was good enough.

Not my favourite mcdonald's, mad walk miles entrance, you end up sitting eating in the queue as a result. Closed early in night for a service station. (Jan 23) better one at collumpton a few miles west on M5 eating and queue separate,
