KFC Wellingborough - Turnells Mill Lane

Warm at best chicken 🍗 super staff but not so hygienic at all in there toilet fascilities.
They smell mouldy and damp and seriously the drains are stomach wrenching if I am honest.
Cleaner tables tho but not so good in loos.
Disabled toilet always seems locked ie if the one toilet for each gender is in use.

A review from 5 years ago states the exact same problems with the toilets.
How can it be ignored this long. Surely a health inspector check on this needs to be done.
Drained water especially waste fecal matter I sense is building up somehow causing a damp issue.
Can the franchise look into this long long long overdue problem.
Not using the shop till I see it has been re updated in it toilets not just the shop front where the money changes hands.
Hands use toilets it is simple human health.

Re: Zinger stacker meal, Disgusting.. Chips soggy only just warm. Burger very messy only a little warm in places. Put most of the food to the bin! I did not enjoy my Pepsi tasted funny. - waste of money will not go back... what a disappointment

I am giving 5 star review only because of this worker at the driver through window. Adrian gave fantastic service and he was extremely polite and helpful, the food was also great and he made my evening ten times better just from being so kind to me. I will definitely be visiting again after that great service!

More delivery drivers than customers inside, drive through had a very long queue, and although the food was good, the customer side of the counter wasn't very organised. Maybe the delivery drivers should wait away from the counter instead of in front of it, thus giving customers who've either ordered to eat in or those that are taking away their order.
Also, disabled parking bays were used by the delivery drivers, as a disabled person I found this quite frustrating.

We ordered our food earlier because we were out but when we arrived at the drive thru they had no record of my order but was informed that they had supposedly made the order earlier and I should have ordered just before I got there. This was not the first time we had used this service and never had a problem before. The person who spoke to me was obviously either the manager or team leader was very rude and spoke to me like I was a child, we will not be going back to that KFC again

Ordered in store to take out. Got mumbled at regarding waiting for drinks to be made. Once completed took order home. Once home to find burger missing. The one we did eat was cold. KFC used to have a high standards but alas no more. Will not be returning.

What I'm about to say has happened in multiple KFC restaurants.
I ordered a boneless banquet for 1. I got 3 of the smallest pieces of boneless breast, a pathetic box of chicken bites a tiny bag of fries and a piece of corn on the cob with tub of warm runny gravy. The price for this in no way shape or form was worth paying for what I got. Seriously I cannot justify paying for it. I live in Birmingham and for what KFC are charging for that so called meal is outrageous. I'll go UK fried chicken and have a 2 chicken fillet burgers, 2 large fries 2 drink and still have change for wings and still have change. Seriously felt like complaining and making a fuss. Parents, don't waste your money on brand named rip off food. Find yourself a smaller business like Uk fried chicken and feed your kids for a fraction of the price. The food is good quality and proper portions that will fill them and mist adults alike.

I went in to order food a the drive through is so slow.
DECEMBER 10TH -2 DEGREES OUTSIDE. THEY HAD COLD AIR CON ON IN THE RESTAURANT. IT SHOWED A VERY 'GO AWAY' ATMOSPHERE. If you want to sit and eat a yummy meal with your coat on this is the place for you.

Drive through review
Now, I'm torn about this review. In one hand I do enjoy a KFC every now and then, the food is always nice. A delicious twister wrap meal and some boneless bits with BBQ sauce.
However the drive through is so out of date. I seriously need to be modernised. There is no lighting to see the menu boards past dark, the communication system is terrible and there always seems to be a very long wait.
I put the long wait down to poor training for the staff from management, this is purely speculation though as there are always plenty of staff behind the counter. Some effective management and training would greatly improve KFC.
