We were extremely pleased with the quality of the service from Stonewoods. The job was the conversion of 2 hearths to gas from solid fuel - a bespoke job. The surveyor was very thorough and professional and explained every part of the project.
The fitters were equally professional, perfectionists.
The job was on on time and at a reasonable cost - not cheap but fair. Stonewoods are highly recommended by us.

For those fussy or discerning customers like myself, Stonewoods is highly recommended - they have oodles of patience. Patience is a virtue and prized in customer experience nowadays. My search for the right fire spanned a period of two years in which Stonewoods provided about 4/5 revisions of quotation , 3 site visits and on day of installations, their installers started early morning and finished job at 7pm with no whinging or complaints. Buying from Stonewoods was a pleasant experience for me. I would advise anyone out there is who is looking to make such an investment, not solely just to focus on the product but also to enjoy the process of acquiring the centre piece of attraction in your room. This is the third fire that I have had purchased and installed from Stonewoods.

Great from start to finish. Initial site visit and design follow up was great with Steve, he didn't rush us, gave us loads of options and helped us make the best decision for what we wanted/needed/could afford. Then the guys who installed were brilliant too - whole thing done in a day and to a great standard (even when they had to adjust because our floor wasn't level). 100% recommend and definitely worth contacting for a first visit. The dog absolutely loves it too!

Stonewoods brought our fireplace vision to life. Quite literally after showing them a picture of what we wanted and designing a bespoke mantel and surround. The fireplace is exactly what we wanted - it sits perfectly within the space and the installers did a fantastic job, even providing skirting around the hearth. They were incredibly professional and so brilliant; they went above and beyond. The fireplace honestly looks perfect and the team at Stonewoods and their installers did a wonderful job. We are so happy.

We used Stonewoods to renovate an upstairs fireplace surround, and install a new downstairs mantel, hearth, bioethanol burner and custom fire basket. Their service was excellent throughout - Jess Draven was our contact - with great communication and unhurried advice, and a great result.

Really helpful service from start to finish, going through the various options available and taking the time in person and on email to help us get the perfect fireplace for us. Was also really quick, from first showroom visit to finished installation in about 5 weeks.
