Amazing service! Richard the owner took lots of time to talk me through different options for my Victorian terrace, and I went from being clueless about fireplaces to having a beautiful original tiled period fireplace and slate hearth ready to fit. Excellent value for money too - Richard will happily explain the difference between different 'models' and is totally transparent about what you get for the price. Cannot recommend highly enough, thank you :)

My daughter in law was choosing 4 doors for her house. She had called a few days ahead and so the business owner had identified relevant doors for her. When we arrived a selection of doors were waiting for us to be viewed. My daughter in law made a number of choices, checking and rechecking measurements, etc. The owner was consistently helpful, patient & very knowledgeable, to enable her to make the final decision. I learnt a great deal about doors, and was very pleased with the friendly and professional service experienced. I would not hesitate to use this company again, or recommend it.

Superb service. Richard and Neil chose a matching pair of beautiful Victorian pine doors for us. We visited and were most impressed with the staff and the whole business. They trimmed the doors for us and delivered at no extra cost and also provided wonderful period door furniture. Very pleased and very highly recommend this firm to you.

I used this business with current owner to strip doors and supply items for a fireplace refurbishment. When something didn’t measure up he was extremely rude. No need for it. Was looking for help for a solution. Wouldn’t set foot in his place ever again even if he had items of interest.

Just visited today and can’t recommend highly enough. I don’t recognise the previous review at all, the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. He explained that we were unlikely to find one of the items we were hoping to source and went on to explain in detail why this was the case, but still spent over an hour trying to help us find a suitable alternative in his reclaimed stock. Passionate, informed and knowledgeable.

Collected our 3 old doors today which were overpainted many many times. Richard made them look brand new while still being old. Great service, lovely guy who loves doors!....will definitely use again. Thanks 👌👍
