Central Fish & Chips

Just finished another helping of fish and chips from Central, always a friendly welcome and the best chippy around. Good portions, hot and tasty.

Always a friendly smile behind the counter, food is excellent and the cafe side of the business is very convenient too, fair prices and quality, you will not be disapointed.

This shop is closed & in the process.of being gutted. Having checked this site on Tuesday to see if it was open yesterday lunch time I was so disappointed to see work men literally stripping the shop out. Why are they still advertising as open?
Has the business shut permanently?

Please note this chip shop at the moment is temporarily closed due to refurb I have informed Google many times on this but they don’t respond or put up the temporary closed which they should do!!!!!
As the former manageress I can only apologise,and hope that by keep telling google Central is temporarily closed they do in fact listen in the end!!!!!!

New make up (renovated f&c shop) but the same old story. I was not very impressed with this fish & chip shop the first time I visited (before it was renovated). After the renovation I thought I would give it a second chance (new owners...). The chips were not of a decent size and badly cooked (could have done with an extra couple minutes). Additionally the batter was soggy and the fish thin and very small for the price. To be honest I could have produced better fish & chips at home with very little effort. I would highly recommend going to Nicks Plaice, better quality and cheaper. The only positive comment I can give is the packaging and clean environment, however this doesn't mean much if an inferior product is produced. I'm very unlikely to return and would highly advise others to seek alternative fish & chip shops.

Just had cod chips in central fish bar Holbeach with NEW owners. It was excellent. Chips were actually brown and crispy.. Fish was proper white inside. 10 out of 10.

Nice cod clean chips bit of a queue but worth the wait
