Honestly the best chippy in Aylesbury.

We ventured here from the opposite side of Aylesbury to try it today. Was pleasantly surprised and the chips tasted amazing!

We also went for the battered halloumi and cheese and onion fry it. Again both were great!

It is a little more expensive than your normal chippy but it's well worth the visit and we would return again if we can handle the long drive to get chips!

Fish and chips always freshly prepared and I feel they are not ‘soaking’ in oil.
The wait is 5-10 mins maximum but it’s worth the wait!
Fish is fresh and so are the chips.
Staff are always polite and ordering system is great as you can see your ticket number and when it’s being prepared and ready.
It’s always hot so it’s still a good temperature when you get home!
I’ve been come here for over 10 years and still vouch its the best fish and chips in Aylesbury.

I have been twice now and both times very disappointing.
First time I cant believe they deep dried my burger didnt realise until I got home chips where very small portion and hardly cooked.
Second visit chips very soggy and under cooked I will definitely not be returning there again.

If I could I wouldn’t even give them a 1 star I ordered 2 spam fritters and when I got home one was a spam fritter maybe 2 days old and burnt to pieces the batter was even falling off the spam itself never know how he even cooked it without realising. The waiting times are 10-20 mins is what I waited even though it says 5min wait really disappointed comparing I spent £50 in here and the staff are really slow and seem to look like they are working when they are not only one cook and the delivery from just eat and deliveroo are seemed to be more important than walk in customers

I really love the chips here, and staff are friendly. The only thing is, the Medium size chips are no different from the small.

Absolutely fantastic food. Excellent chips. Always fresh and hot.

Can be variable but today the food was pretty good, apart from rather soggy batter on the fish. Pity the staff are always unfriendly at Jackson Rd. No smile, no greeting, barely polite. And when ordering using the app I hardly ever receive a message to say the food is ready. Really annoying. However, the other chippies in Aylesbury are poor, so this is the best option.

Very disappointing 😞.. have heard this was the best chippy in Aylesbury....thought I'd try them out last night.... well well what a big mistake.... I ordered 2x cod 1xmed chips and onion rings... which I will add cost a WHOPPING £21.00... however once I got my order home I looked into my order and was horrified to see only 1x cod 2x chips and 1x onion rings... NOT WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR.
Spoke to manager by phone who was very apologetic and told me he would issue me with a £10 coupon off my next purchase... he said I would receive an email with this offer.
Nothing received yet.... only time will tell... I do hope they honour this as this will give me the opportunity to give them another chance.. I am a once bitten type of person and generally will boycott a food establishment if I have not had a good meal.... let's hope they honour their word..
