Sinclair's Fish and Chips

Ratings looked great so ordered tonight for the first time, and was pretty shocking. Fish was dry, the chicken burger is basically a bun with only one teeny tiny processed pattie ...nothing else. Chips were nothing special!

I was also lucky to find a black curly hair in my fish batter. I can safely say it will be the first and last time we order here.

Ordered 24 senior fish and chips for a quiz night which were delicious and delivered free to us. Very pleasant people. Thoroughly recommend.

We're so glad to have found somewhere that offers such great allergy-friendly food. The batter was crisp, the fish perfectly cooked, and the chips crunchy with a soft middle.

I loved the different size options, and great to see child-sized gluten free portions.

Edible but not great and small portions. Chips were barely cooked looked like they needed a lot longer in the fryer.

Takeaway fish and chips best fish I think I've ever tasted

After a long day of work, I bought fish and chips for take away,I saw that they put it in the box for others, but when it comes to me they put it in a small paper bag. I paid £8.90 for a small fish and they never asked if I wanted a salt and vinegar. Very bad service!!

I pre ordered to arrive at 19.55. Unfortunately I had to then call at 8.15 once the delivered hadn't arrived.

Guy on the phone said they've been busy - to which I suggested there isn't much point of a pre order option if its going to be significantly late.

The staff member then told me sarcastically "I don't think you understand" and was very rude - almost as if I wasn't a paying customer and was an inconvenience to them!

What I don't think that staff member understood is that he has lost sinclairs a customer with that attitude.

No apology for the 35 minute delay once the food finally arrived either.

It gets 1 more star than I wanted to give because the food itself was good.
