County Fish Bar

First time visiting since my usual place is still closed due to quarantine but OMG this place is my new favourite And will be returning!!! The food is amazing!!!!! I live about a 20 min walk away and it is worth the walk there and back for it! Such great prices too and the quality! My first bite I was said to my partner this is so amazing!!! I had the sweet and sour chicken and probably the best one I have ever eaten! Worth more than 5 stars and will definitely be returning next Saturday!!!!!!!

We love this chippy, always pleasant, excellent menu selection if you do not want their very tasty fish and chips.

Bad experience this evening. Ordered two small fish and chips, sausage chips and gravy and spring rolls. Stood there whilst they did other orders. Then sat down. Twenty minutes later still no food. Went to ask where my order was - they totally forgot about it. Absolute chaos. Straightforward order that couldn’t been done there and then but wasn’t, instead cracked on with everything else and totally forgot. Did apologise but no discount for making me stand like a lemon for that time which would’ve been a nice gesture. Probably won’t be going again despite it being my local chippy and the food wasn’t even that nice when it eventually arrived

Salt n chips (chillies onions peppers) with a Chinese meal delicious

Just popped in tonight for the first time in about 18 months (covid n stuff) had my dog with me so I secured him to one of the posts outside, my dog is large and loud but friendly.
While I was ordering my food I was treated to a series of "looks" from the particularly sullen young lady behind the counter that would of made me think that my dog had just eaten several babies!
I only wanted fish and chips, not petty judgementalism of the ill informed, will not be a returning customer.

Food amazing and great price

Really tasty, just love there Fish & Chips I am sure they have improved on the batter it's sooo crispy & light.
There Chinese meals are delicious too.
Defo reccomend to anyone.😀 🐟🍟❤
