The Plaice Fish and Chips Shop

Very disappointed with food from here. Chips were cold and rubbery and fish taste like old oil. Won't be going back which is a shame as I came here very often years ago when there were different owners. .

A great place to order food from if you want to get food poisoning. Scampi was mushy (and had a bone in) and gave a terminally ill woman crippling stomach pain and worse all night

I ordered shish and chicken kebab. The order was wrong. I asked for a large one 2 skewers for 9 pounds he then said that's 14 pounds so I said no I ain't paying that and walked out to go somewhere else. You could have bought 2 to 3 chickens for that price. Hi we went again on the 09/ 10 /2022 ordered chips large chips regular mushy peas curry sauce jumbo sausage, I complained that the sausage mushy pea's curry sauce would where getting cold on top of the counter while we waited for the chips . The manager came out with I'm not frightened of you , that's no way to speak to your customers.

Gutted heard such good things about this place when I walked in seen a big fresh donner roll on heat ordered one only to be given scraps out of the bottom tray.
Mrs chicken kebab was superb maybe just unlucky

Went out of normal meal times. Food cooked to order. Very helpful as he swapped Food from one order to another so saved me money.

The best fish and chips in Leyland. 2 other customers came in whilst we were there and both said the same !

Went for lunch. Not going to lie this place is a hidden gem. Best fish and chips. Got lucky with the lunch time offer of 4 quid. Owner was very pleasant. Went down a treat! Definitely recommend.
