Station Fish Bar--- licensed Restaurant

Great food at a great price. This was always the restaurant of choice but we had be lured away as we'd heard bad things after the change in management. I can confirm these were completed unfounded, the food is as good as it ever was, if not better. Great tasting and not at all greasy the best chips in town. The normal complement of pies and sausages along with well battered fresh fish.

Really nice fish and chips, not greasy like most places. Fairly new owners who are really friendly. If preferred you can eat in at minimal extra cost, so food is piping hot and straight out the fryer.

I'm no fish & chip connoisseur so take that as you will however I felt it could've tasted better and priced a little bit cheaper (£2.50 for a can of coke is a bit much). The fish was thin and fell apart too easily and the chips tasted like they were really well cooked bought in cheapish brand chips.

I will say the service was very good. Staff was very friendly and served me well.

Really pleasantly surprised at how great this was! We ordered off Deliveroo, it turned up on time, hot and not greasy at all.
The curry sauce was epic, I could have eaten that with a spoon :) And the batter on the cod was delicious.
A lot of local fish and chip shops sadly are a let down but not this one. I would go as far as to say it’s the nicest chippy takeaway we’ve had.
Will be ordering again!

Ideal for vegans, since the chips are cooked separately, so they don't smell/taste like fish. The chips are delicious and not greasy like in some other places. They cook to order, so chips are always fresh. The owners are very friendly.

Just had chips and a battered sausage. Slightly confused as no grease whatsoever. I think the guys have just taken over within the last couple of months. If providing meals that I've just had, food was really good.
Would I come back... yes definitely if as good as what I just experienced. Thanks guys and hope it works out for you all. :-)

best fish and chips in burgess hill. i had a plaice, cheesy chips and a curry sauce and it was very tasty, non-greasy. definitely come back again.

have had more than one meal here and all are just what you want and you would expect. non greasy perfect taste. fair price, excellent friendly staff.
