Hillcrest Fishbar

We ordered from Hillcrest through just eat and the order was never delivered. When we tried to contact Hillcrest to complain, they took no responsibility and refused to take any action to send us the food that we had ordered and paid for. Will never be using them again!

Absolute garbage. Horrible brown rubbery chips and the large cod turned out to be what looked like 2 Findus fillets. Greasy and horrible and rest assured I will never waste my money here again. Absolute rip off.

I love this chip shop. The food is always perfect and you couldn't meet nicer more personable staff. They are incredibly polite and helpful. I often order in advance and even if I am waiting for just a few minutes to pick up they cannot apologise enough which I find even the acknowledgement is rare elsewhere. The service really is amazing. Highly recommended.

Absolutely vile. My boyfriend ordered from them and the food looks and is absolutely vile. The fish is overcooked and has no flavour, mushy peas are sour and not edible. The worst chippy that I have ever had.
How can you serve such food and ask for money? Shame. Vile place.

Don't order through uber as they don't use them, yet you can order through uber! When I went in to collect my order after waiting 2 hours for it as the driver 'got lost' I was verbally abused by the driver and the female owner for asking a question! Disgusting attitude to customers and staff! They need to think about how they talk to people!

Just visited your establishment. Very disappointed, as some one new to the area I purchased F&C + Bread cake, the fish was dry around the edges, as a former owner of a Chippy this means either left over from lunch or has been held on the top heater for some time. And to finish things off there was a hair in the bread cake. I will be visiting other establishments in the future, it also seamed to be over priced.

The potato fritters are amazing!

Staff are polite and friendly and the premises are clean and tidy.
Prices are reasonable.
