The food was good but there were issues with the service.

Best Chippy in Stafford! Tried them all and none of them beats Sandon Road for taste. Great friendly staff, you even get your car door opened 🤭.

Our order tonight was AWFUL. We barely got any food, the bits we did get were grisly and massively greasy; nearly £4 for a donner tray that was practically empty. Waste of money, and now I also feel sick. DREADFUL.

We have used this Fish and Chip shop on several occasions for our Fundraising Charity do’s.
Last night they provided around 90 portions of red hot fish and chips and everyone commented on how good they were! We will definitely use them in the future 😊

Just moved to the area, was recommended Sandon Road Fish Bar and have to say it is amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful, the fish was fresh and batter very tasty. Kababs are juicy and taste incredible and the chips are so good. Will be visiting there again and again. Totally recommend to any and everyone. Top place.

I'd had to fast for 30hrs for a hospital procedure at County Hospital. On leaving and feeling a tad hungry I called in on my way back to Stoke-on-Trent, I got to the fish and chip shop about quarter of an hour before they closed for the afternoon the food was freshly made and very nice the lady serving was extremely present and chatty. If Ur passing or in the area and peckish you should give them a try like I did, you will have a hot tasty fresh meal.

Fish and chips excellent. Sometimes very busy, so must be good. I have changed this review, as previously confused Sandon with another local chippy, which was not so good.
