If you are going to visit Trisha's chippy, you had better specify that you want your meet cooked, otherwise it will be RAW. Don't spend too much time on your order, because you wont get what you ask for anyway. Also, if you order online or on the phone, make sure you turn up on time so they can make you wait 15 minutes for your food to be cooked.

Sarcasm aside, we ordered for collection at a certain time, had an email confirmation with the time on, and when we turned up they said they didn't know when we were collecting it so it wasn't ready. After a 15 minute wait, we were handed our food with a receipt from them WITH OUR COLLECTION TIME ON.

Upon opening our food, the cheeseburger had no cheese and was so raw that a good vet could probably bring it back to life. The chips were cold, and the cheesy chips we ordered had no cheese on. Thoroughly disappointed and also feeling a little ill from biting into a raw burger.

DO NOT GO TO TRISHA'S CHIPPY.

Fantastic little place with something for everyone and very reasonably priced. I can't usually eat all the batter on fish but I ate every bite here. Not a drop of grease.

Friendly staff. Didn't need to pre-order, but could of done if wished too, also have delivery service and seating in side. We stayed close by so just wandered down. All our food was freshly cooked, so, was a little wait, however I prefer that. Fairly priced, 2 large cod, sausage, saveloy with 2 large chips (fed the family) under £20. Visited twice during our stay.

Amazing fish and chips. Nicely cooked and a smell to die for. This chippy was right next to the caravan park we were staying at so was very handy, it had an extensive menu and was very reasonable in price.

Had a potter along the beach, got the munchies and decided to try these. The place seemed popular, and after a short wait, I received my fish and chips. Whilst the chips were fine, sorry to say the fish was not cooked through, and some of the batter was still a little liquid in places. Whilst I like sushi, I don't think I'll be visiting again 😕

Kids fancied chip lunch, so we stopped here on a walk out to grab some food before popping down to the beach. We ordered, and there was a fair old wait for food, I guess on the plus side it was all a bit fresher, but it was still a fair old wait!

The food itself was OK, the chips had some overly cooked (black) chips within the portions (perhaps not cleaned out of the fryer correctly between batches?) The rest seemed OK, and I thought the kids meals were fairly good value.

Ordered cod , haddock and chips fried to order which is fine . As I waited for my take out I spotted a couple sat eating there . Both had chips pilled at side of plate as they left . When I took the order to our caravan my wife's cod didn't taste like cod and chips looked as if been sun bathing as no colour to them. I'd definitely be looking else where next time.

Went to the beach at California and on the way back the smell was enticing.

Went in placed our order and after about 10 minutes we had first rate cod and chips. Portion was generous and perfect food.

We were told there would be a 10 minute wait. That's normal for battered fish and chips as the fryer can only do 5-6 portions a time.
