Viking Fish Bar

The chips are so poor I never finish the bag. They're nearly always lukewarm by the time I get home. This chip shop went downhill years ago, it's shabby and looks old inside.
Other chip shops in Corby give you much tastier chips that are piping hot, actually too hot to eat until you get home, which is just what I expect.

Ordered today food arrived early 👍 but unfortunately was too cold ,then found 1 beanfield burger was missing ,the breaded cod was smashed up in the wrapper ,I've tried endlessly for the last 40 mins to ring and have the issue corrected but their phone is off the hook and is constantly engaged ..
Fortunately for me it had arrived early so I was able to get a refund from the food app ..
All could have been sorted if they had manned the phones .
This was our first order and unfortunately it's ALL in the bin and we certainly won't be ordering again due to the invisible customer service.
If I was able to leave the house without affecting my family's or my own health I would have came direct to the shop ..

Great wee chip shop was in Corby for grand prix and ate here twice the food was good the portions were decent too nice couple running it kebabs were tasty

Absolutely love the chips here. Their chicken kebab meat is gorgeous 😍 doesn't taste greasy at all and it is full of flavour. We order through just eat and it comes so quick! Great portion sizes, very generous. Would recommend!

I fell in love with these guys on my first order, the best cooked haddock I'd had in years - crispy golden batter that was obviously timed to perfection, and other than their slightly weird curry sauce with a bit too much Chinese Five-Spice - I couldn't fault them; and the same for the second time ordering.

Last night, my haddock was overcooked, hard and a real disappointment I couldn't eat - I've had two of my best "Fish and Chips" in a while from here so I won't knock them too hard for it - just frustrating. I'll be back when I'm willing to try again.

Orders on line are very easy, they are ready to pick up at the most after 20 minutes. Fish was very good size and tasty, chips plentiful . Would recommend this chippy.

Got a battered sausage in a roll, cost £2.70, gave £3 to the assistant and received no change. Asked for sauce, was told no lol. Got it eventually. Be careful..
