Star Fish & Chips

I drove over from West Yorkshire for work and saw Star on the way back. Not disappointed at all.
A fantastic range of food not just Fish and Chips but fried chicken, kebabs and meal deals.
Would recommend to anyone and I will try something different next time.

Well all that I can comment on were the chips which were lovely and nicely cooked. I also got a nice cheese pie which I was amazed that it wasnt a hollands pie.The puff pastry was really nice.I might just treat myself to a fish next time im near Chirk.If your on narrowboat Its about a 30 minute walk from the canal if your stopping for a chippy tea .

A decent chip shop and the quality of the food is very good. It's better than all of those in Oswestry. Perhaps on par with Andrews in Welshpool or Lens at St Martin's. Well worth a visit.

First visit after the recent refit, the shop looks really smart! The excellent service continues as it always has, and the size and quality of the portions is just as good as ever. Best fish & chips around 👍🏻

The best fish and chips we've had in a very long time. Beautiful crisp light batter, gorgeous fish chips and chicken strips!!

The chips were very nice, chunky and no bits (how I like them) but the portion for large was lacking compared to other chippys I've visited. The chicken burger was a bit dry and bland, needed butter or more sauce.
I asked for a lot of salt and vinegar but still ended up having to put my own on at home.
The shop itself was clean, comfortable and friendly.

Great chippy always stop the way they always remember who you are you and if you haven't seen him for a while

Great fish and chips and generous portions too. They also do very good kebab wraps and are open all day Friday & Saturday afternoon. The prices are reasonable and it's very clean and the staff are friendly too
