Called in this evening for some chips on way back to caravan and have to say the food we had was lovely. We were welcomed by 2 staff a male (unknown name) and a female Hannah. Both were very chatty and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Quick service and then clean plates.

The staff were exceptionally polite and help full. The ladies frying are fantastic dancers (I'm in love) that's a great vibe for a chippy. lovely food all round

Went to this chippy as the usual one by the shop was closed due to the hot weather....wished I never now! I'm not saying the food was bad, the chips were frozen chips and not proper chippy chips and food was "to standard" (not near enough as good as the chippy 20 yards away)but the price difference is so noticeable. £4.49 for a pie???? (That was warmed up in the microwave). When they told me the total price I was quite shocked. Two chichicken and mushroom pies, 3 (large) chips ( I ordered 2 at first but the portion size looked the same as the regular) 2 sausage in batter and curry sauce which cost over £30!! I will not be going there again.

The queue was enormous so I thought must be good! Absolutely not. The prices are ridiculous, large fish and chips £12.50, frozen chips and frozen fish not even large , smaller than normal! Was not good. The sausages were un edibal. They are making thousands out of innocent holiday makers in a captive market. DO NOT GO

Stayed in Pendine for a week and was determined to have fish n chips on the beach. Oh dear, the Fish & Chippery was the only place that still served fish and chips takeaway. I appreciate the energy crisis is closing these places but what was served will do that even faster. Ordered regular cod, 5 cod pieces and chips. Total £17. You could but two fillet steaks and some chips and russel up a nice meal and still have change for that. The girl serving, bless her, was so embarrassed at the piece of cod being put in the box that she tilted it away from my view when putting salt and vinegar on it. It was miserable grey sliver of cod caked in greasy batter. The cod pieces had twice the amount of cod as the fillet, which was something, but still covered in yuck batter. The chips weren't much better, maybe the oil, Castrol or Mobile wasn't fresh.
I know the humble chippy is going to the wall, but if Russian cheap cod is not available then use Salmon, the chicken if the sea, it's cheaper!! So sad to bash the chippy at such a hard time for them. But in some cases they just don't help themselves.

Luck of the drawer as to what you get and you'll never get anything really good. My family threw away what they cooked yesterday. Fish smelt bad and batter was not cooked through. Chips were not fresh. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't cost so much

Very poor fish and chips. The batter was soggy and thick. The fish clearly frozen, not fresh. The chips mediocre. Curry sauce thin and unappealing. The drinks were ok, but it’s difficult to mess up chilled cans.

Walked in to not a very warm welcome and only ordered a kids meal and 2 small adult meals to take back to the caravan. The chips were just like from the oven and the battered sausages were like they had been reheated. It was totally inedible we had to get something from the lovely Lotus Chinese restaurant
