Cook's Fish and Chips

Chips are frozen and not fresh as they taste just like the ones in the main restaurant next door on site, super super slow servers who are scared that they may give you too many chips! run by kids who need a rocket up their bum and learn how to work quicker! no lids to gravy so it spills out into your bag and watery would not waste your half hour to get served let alone waste your money!

Wish I could give minus stars.
On one portion of chips… £4.09 you get 3 small scoops for a large. Don’t even waste your time. Chips were hard and rank. Wish I didn’t waste my time.

As previous reviews have pointed out, staff extremely slow! Even captain Birds Eye could fish faster with one eye!

I'm sure Brenda was outback fishing my tea from the chest freezer, and zapping it in Chef Mike-fish was very thin! My thighs are thicker than the fish you served
Food was bland, no taste at all! Almost thought I had Covid due to the lack of taste.

AVOID, go to the local mini shop and cook.

Food was lovely but a massive delay on actually being served. Took over forty minutes. I thought they had gone to the beach to actually catch the fish and one of the staff tried to pick up my sons pie with some tongs and failed four times before trying to pick it up with his hand. So much for food hygiene. Not impressed everyone was commenting on the speed of service but staff didn't apologise or try to speed up.

Waited ages the senior person there very rude to staff. Partner not been well since eating fish and chips. Im used to having fish cooked to order not already cooked so have no idea how long it had been there and differently not worth the money

Not value for money or quality. For 2 cod and chips and a kids sausage and chips it cost nearly £30!, you can see from the pics how this does not add up. I appreciate this is an on resort chippy but no need to skimp on quality or quantity especially when charging restaurant prices! They had no small sausages for the kids meal so decided to chop a large one in half and give us that… ok I didn’t ‘pay’ for a a large but come on!

This features in the top 10 of worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. In fact, this takes top spot.

Overpriced, under quality, tasteless rubbish.

I’d never normally advocate frozen hover fresh, but…. do yourself a favour if you fancy fish and chips, go get some frozen fish from the supermarket. And make the chips fresh in some beef dripping. That tastes miles better!

Can’t say for sure it was the cause, but the wife and me have been taking turns of sitting on the porcelain thrown since.

Just really bad fish and chips, like most Cooks to be honest, it was late and we just arrived and just wanted something quick, wish I never bothered!
