Gluten free heaven, I had gf southern fried style chicken strips with garlic mayo and fries, hubby had sausage (not gf) and chips. Also picked up a gluten free cheesecake

Fab chippy with plenty of choice on the menu. Nice little seating area outside to enjoy your food whilst overlooking Benllech beach.
Food well cooked, and batter nice and crispy on the fish. Highly recommend.

The order number I was given was 183. This was called out by your staff member and then checked by the girl behind the counter on my receipt. So who can’t read numbers?! I would suggest that there is an issue therefore with your staff being unable to read and relay numbers and not on the customers being able to read. Very rude to suggest this when it was ENTIRELY your error.

The chips were absolutely not fresh when given after I had to return to the shop… They are handed over as already boxed and soggy.

If you wish to charge premium prices then get the service and product right!! It’s really not difficult - although you’ve made it look like it is!

Really poor service.

Walked to the chippy to pick up 2 x chips and curry sauce. 10 minute wait and then was given my order. Walked back with it to find 2 x fish in the boxes and no chips. Basically the wrong order!! Had to go back to the shop with the order to get the correct order. This was then cold soggy chips that they didn’t even give fresh, despite the entire error being their fault in giving me the wrong order?! Most worryingly was the fact that they took back the fish they had given me incorrectly… were they going to resell them?!

Poor service! If the order is wrong and it’s your fault , then the customer deserves a fresh order and not the cold soggy ones you forgot to give in the first place?!

Won’t go again as there are plenty of other less expensive places with much better service.

Well worth the wait to get served. Excellent service, delicious fish n chips nicely packaged in recyclable boxes. Portions are a good size. Best fish n chips we've eaten..

Nice fish and chips, but being a Midlands boy I can honestly say you'd start a riot in Birmingham or the Black Country if you served such tiny portions for that price! My regular fish would be a mini fish back home. And the quality was no better, so I failed to see where my money went. It was a nice meal, just missed the other half of it.

Wow! Probably a good thing we only found this place on our last night in the area. Otherwise we would have been back every night! I can honestly say this has to be one of the best fish and chips I've had in my life and I've tried a fair few! When I'm next on Angelsey I'll certainly go out of my way to visit again.

Good quality food, can't fault that at all. Light crispy batter right to to last bite..... But..... That came alot quicker than we would have liked... The portion sizes were very small. Unfortunately back home, the regular cod would just about pass as a kids fish and the cod bites, I don't even know where to start.

We went to the Golden Fry today 11th July and had some really lovely fresh fish and chips and a really tasty burger. The fish was succulent batter crispy and the chips was top notch. I'd highly recommend if you are in Benllech that you visit this chippy to get your lunch or evening meal. Highly recommended 👌😋
