Fish n Chips

You get your food served in a double layered bag. This is a novelty that soon wears off as it soon becomes harder and harder to reach the food.

The gravy may aswell have been brown water, totally flavourless.

The only saving grace is the chips are lush and crispy.

Bad experience. No standard fish on a Sat afternoon. Only mini fish. The batter on the fish was soggy and under cooked. 50 %of the chips were the scrappy end pieces. Not to be repeated.

Went there today and honestly I can say it is the best fish and chips I have ever had! The chips were crispy in the outside and fluffy in the inside, the fish was really decent too.

First time we have used this chip shop and will definitely use again pleasant staff and noticed that temperatures of food was being taken with a probe

Slow and disorganised. Terrible service, don’t bother. 30 minutes and still waiting for a bag of chips, I’ve never seen service like it

Amazing food, lovely staff members, cannot fault anything about this establishment apart from the fact that it's a gamble as to whether or not they're going to be open. Google says they close at 8pm but we've turned up at 6ish today craving fish and chips and all the lights are off. Not the first time it's happened either. Please update your hours so we can avoid future disappointment lol

Though they'd run outta fish due to an unexpectedly busy evening (they weren't the only ones in Aber who'd run out of stuff on Thurs eve) the staff cooked us scampi and chips to order. Don't think I've ever had nicer chips (and I've tried my fair share)! So very crispy and not at all greasy. The scampi too was perfectly cooked. Really delicious. Thank you! Will def walk the dog and get chips more often. :-)

Fantastic service, very competent staff, great food to boot. We'll definitely be back for our seaside fish and chips.
