Village Fish Bar Gorseinon

We ordered fish and chips, curry sauce and the lunch cod bites box with a side and a latte. All the food was freshly cooked to order and delicious. The lady owner was very friendly and professional and premises kept extremely clean. The coffee was a very good standard too which is unusual when not a specialist coffee takeaway. Would highly recommend and will return!

First time using this chippy, ordering online was easy, place was spotless! The food was absolutely delicious and great service! Gluten free menu is great, finally a chippy that my family and I can all dine from! Well done Village fish bar, setting the standard 👏 👍 👌

Brilliant fish and chip shop. Caters to coeliacs and gluten free, lots of options (including vinegar for the chips!). Very yummy and good price. Highly recommend and I will be buying again

Great local chip shop which safely serves gluten free meals. The lovely lady serves gluten free fish, scampi, jumbo sausage and chicken nuggets, curry sauce, gravy, chips and even gf vinegar! You can even buy a bottle! The gluten free sausage and nuggets in particular are so good, even better than I remember gluten containing products used to taste! My husband isn’t gluten free and he agrees you cannot taster the difference. He actually preferred the gluten free versions! Honestly the first time I tired the gf sausage I thought it was too tasty not to be gluten free. Winning! The place is very clean and the lady is so nice. I’m just so pleased that I can still safely enjoy sausage, chips & gravy 😋 They now also do click & collect. Which will save you having to wait for a few mins as it’s all cooked fresh.

Always had great food from here. Most recently, the giant Yorkshire pudding Christmas special for £5. Great value for money and huge portions!

Would recommend. Hand the gluten-free chips, sausage, curry sauce and scampi and it was great. First gf chips I've had that tasted like chip shop chips and not like cardboard. Really enjoyed and would definitely recommend. My other half had regular fish and chips and really enjoyed those too. The woman serving was lovely too.

My partner has been to the Jolly's since she was young. As I recently moved to the area, she recommended us the Jolly's, despite not going there for years, as she never had any bad experiences before. We bought a large chips, sausage and tango blast. The chips were under cooked and soggy. For a large, it was on the smaller side for a chippy. The sausage was OK but was not fully cooked on both sides. The best thing was the tango blast. But overall the quality of the chippy is expensive for what you actually get. The lady who served us wasn't friendly either. It did not make us... jolly. Very, very disappointing.
