Tapi Carpets & Floors

The carpet layers were so good. Cleared up as they went and there was a mess after lifting carpets and grippers ! They worked constantly and did a great job. All the flooring Vynal and carpets look super. So one very happy customer. The staff in the showroom were very helpful and kept to the new rules with face masks , all in all a good experience. I would recommend Tapi to everyone.

They take covid seriously and that's a big plus. Prices were very good with the quote being just what we asked for..i was laying my own laminate so I did the door thresholds for example. Great quality carpets. Fitting arranged to suit us. All in all a great experience

Very helpful and professional staff at the Stevenage store when we were choosing a carpet. We received an email the day before fitting and a call on the day to let us know what time they would arrive. Good job and they even hoovered up the fluff from the carpet afterwards. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst consumer experience I have had recently, discussed LVT & Carpet options in store and the dates we needed fitting as this would be before we moved into the property. The dates were ignored and although a very helpful lady did her best to organise a last minute fitting, after being let down by 2 fitters we had lost faith. Finally when someone did turn up for the carpet, they didn't have time for the LVT. This also turned out to be not the product we discussed in store and has left us with no flooring downstairs, and had to be returned by myself as it was now in the way. A lot of wasted time and effort for only half a job and also a rip off, the "stratos" underlay which is sold for £15 a meter is actually a tredair rebrand which is available online at £5 a meter so I dread to think of the mark upon there other products. I would not recomend to anyone.

Can't praise the staff enough. A last minute scramble to get carpet fitted before moving at late notice and I'm so happy I found Tapi.
Andy from the Stevenage store was brilliant on the phone, helped amend things to work within my budget and went above and beyond to ensure we could get the carpet fitted in time. The two fitters of attended were equally fabulous. Polite, efficient and followed lockdown protocol. The job was done quickly but to a great standard. Thank you so much, I'll recommend you anywhere I can.

Very efficient and polite, happy team of fitters lead by Harry.
Only problem was that on the day of fitting they could not finish off a doorway strip or adjust doors to clear the carpet in two places. They will be returning we are told this week to sort these two items. Otherwise, fine.
