Good pricing on fitting and lead time for fitting is currently about 3 weeks (AUG 2020) as they have had a busy rush after re-opening.

Despite all the virus precautions it was a great experience. Great choice of carpets and flooring. We were able to browse and take advice when necessary from knowledgeable staff. Special call out to Richard P for going the extra mile. Our order was promptly confirmed electronically and the fitting was on time and well completed. Great customer service.

What a complete waste of time and money - I went into the store in Chelmsford to order a new laminate floor for 5 rooms to be laid three weeks in advance of moving into a new property. I was told that it would save time to have someone go round and measure up properly, have a look at the current condition etc.. before the fitting, this was booked for 30th April with the floor to be fitted on 11th May and I would be moving in on the 13th May. However I had a delay in getting my keys so I had to move visit booked on the 30th to the 10th. At no point was I informed that this would delay everything else. Following the visit on 10th I was then called at 4.30pm to be told that the fitting would not be taking place the next day but that they hadn't even ordered the floor and it wouldn't be there till Friday with no date yet for the fitting and my removal van booked for the Friday! I can not believe they messed me around and wasted my time like this on top of delaying my move by almost a week - disgusting customer service, avoid avoid avoid!!!

Nice range of good carpets with some deals too (remember the extra £60 for the fitting though!)

I'm very happy with my carpet. I had 2 bedrooms and the hallway and stairs fitted with new carpet.
I also used the measuring service and choose my carpet from home.
The guy that came round to measure up was Polite and helpful and he was very patient with me when I was deciding on what carpet to have.
Also Bradley fitted my carpet and he was brilliant. He tidied up and took the the off cuts away. I highly recommend him.

Paid our first visit to Tapi Carpets today, the day after lock down, needed a new carpet for my daughters bedroom, they have plenty of carpets to choose from, at decent competitive prices (compared to other local stores) I spoke to a really helpful guy, James Hunt I believe, who was really helpful, we needed an early fitting date as we had furniture arriving on the following Monday, he managed to get us a fitting of the next Friday, therefore we purchased the carpet. I would highly recommend Tapi Carpets, Chelmsford, and commend the staff.

Roomy lil dirty on Reception desk area. Fluff all over the carpet possible from a carpet being cut. Staff on hand so good quick service. Which is a plus so a carpet was brought
