Carpetright

Really poor service. Did not quote accurately in the first instance (was an insurance job) so I had to supplement the insurance payout myself. Did not order correct parts so had to come back to finish the job. This was after waiting several weeks for initial installation. Once fitting completed floor began to warp and separate. Had to wait another week for them to come back and repair it during which time the floor was dangerous to walk on (I have two small children in the house). Not a word of apology from either fitter or high street store, they just handed over to each other while not accepting any responsibility. Avoid.

Bought a carpet online. On day of installation was told carpet supplied to the warehouse was defective and couldn't be fitted. Two weeks later the store than said online price was incorrect (which had already been paid) and asked for £32 more. They couldn't even cancel the order at that point, as no line manager was present, so even that was delayed.

I recently bought carpet and laminate flooring for my new house, I was advised by Nuno, from the first moment he talked to me about the qualities of carpets and floors and which ones are more suitable for the type of house, great advice with a lot of professionalism and empathy. Very good service and perfect attention at all times. Thank you

I got a quote for carpet and fitting in three rooms of our new flat. Dan took my details and said he’d get back to me with a quote by the afternoon; the quote came back much quicker. Dan was fantastic from start to finish, he gave me the warm level of customer service over the phone that you’d expect from being in the room with him.
I also made a massive mistake with my measurements, and realised about 10 minutes before the store closed, Dan took the time to amend my measurements and update my order.
The uplift and removal was great value considering how much the council charge to remove carpet by the sq. meter. The fitting was quoted to be in mid December, and in fact it ended up being done within 10 days of the order! Brilliant.
And the fitters were really excellent too, as they were able to work around our bed.

BEWARE OF CARPETRIGHT FITTING SERVICE!!! These guys use sub-contractor fitters who are more concerned about how many jobs they can fit into a day rather than the service they provide Carpetright customers. If there's any unforeseen issues, prepare yourself for a whole load of finger pointing between Carpetright and the fitter. My job got cancelled today because my fitter turned up without the glue, which is used to stick grippers to the floor. After 30min of hard negotiation the fitter finally agreed to collect thevhigh grip glue to continue my job. However, whilst out to collect the glue he took it upon himself to leave my job and continue his day with my carpet on his van. After ignoring my calls for two hours and further negotiation he eventually agreed to bring back my carpet so I could get it fitted by another fitter recommended by a friend. I personally lost a days work due to this cowboy service and experienced a whole load of stress. To anyone reading this I would just google a local carpet fitter and arrange it with them direct. You may pay a little more but its much more likely they'll care about your job, take care and pride in the service they provide. Carpetright Streatham you've been a real let down.
