Incredibly impressed, called the branch and Gary was out to measure within a couple of hours. Mark the manager was brilliant, great product knowledge and helped us out a lot. Really impressed with the professionalism of this branch and the customer services.

Disappointed as other people had told me how good Tapi were. I ordered and paid for vinyl flooring for the kitchen and was led to believe it would be ready for collection in about 5 days. After 11 days and numerous evasive phone calls Tapi eventually told me the order would take a further 10 days to arrive. I cancelled the order and received a refund. I was left with the impression Tapi's supply chain was unreliable and it's staff were powerless to do anything about it.

Very stressful experience from Tapi Homebase Orpington team. Poor communication between them and the Nugent Centre main ordering centre meant my order was lost along with all the room measurements which had been taken weeks previously by one of their team. No trace of any paperwork or emails. Did receive an automated email following payment and measure up stating date carpets would be fitted, then another email from Tapi the day before fitting saying 'Yippee, it's your big day tomorrow' so excitedly cleared rooms of beds, wardrobes etc (not easy when you're on your own) but when the fitting guys arrived though apologetic they said they hadn't got the carpet with them and had been told to measure up again. They left to go and cut the carpet themselves at Tapi, returning later with two carpets but not the third, the main bedroom. On 'phoning Tapi Homebase Orpington I was told that the carpet had not been sent off for binding as they'd lost the measurement but was assured now it had been remeasure by the fitters it would be back within a few days. The bedroom furniture had to be moved back into position so the room was useable. A couple of weeks' later received a 'phone call from Tapi Nugent Centre asking me when they could measure up for this carpet again!! I said I was waiting for it to be fitted as there had already been two measurements taken. Further apologies from them but the reality is still no bedroom carpet - it hadn't been sent off for binding as promised for a second time. Presumably the second lot of measurements have been lost too. Gross incompetence and an extremely stressful experience.

We had a number of issues with the Orpington branch mainly staff communication, to cut a long story short. We were promised a carpet within 7 - 10 days and it took a month. The staff don't know what they are doing.

One positive note was their fitters (contracted out) they went out their way to help and fitted our carpets beautifully. The carpets themselves and the binding seem to be of a very good standard also. These 2 stars are purely down to these reasons but would go somewhere else next time.

Excellent service and beautiful carpet. Measured and fitted all in the same week. In these difficult times that is brilliant. The guys observed social distancing and wore masks. Definitely would recommend to anyone

Thank you to Alan at Orpington Tapi! He matched our carpet exactly to what we had fitted already and made the whole buying experience so smooth. His advice was amazing and having had our carpet fitted it looks stunning. From order to fitting in under a week for the carpet we wanted! 10/10 honestly don’t waste your time going else where! Alan is a real credit to your company! Thanks again

Really nice store and friendly staff, listen to what I needed and was clear about costs. I think the salespeople were Alan and Andrea she even offered me a coffee
