We were very fortunate to pop in on the opening week of the new store and were very impressed with the help of everyone. The guy who came to measure up was excellent and the chap who installed was brilliant. We also ordered some laminate flooring which looks great. Great service at a fantastic price!

Crapi Carpets would be a better title.
Had 4 visits to the store two of these occasions we purchased 2 separate flooring types for two areas in my home. The staff there followed the Covid 19 guidelines throughout. They were polite, very helpful and didn't try to up sell their products. They even advised against a dearer product as not best suited for our home setup.
That is where it stopped being good. We had to wait even longer than thread time but this was due to the product coming from abroad so we accepted this was out if their control. The 1st product to arrive was vinyl flooring for outer living room the fitter and his mate arrived around 3 hours after the appointment and began to fit the floor. I asked why they were late and said they had to wait for the product to arrive in the store but this was a lie as id spoken to the store 3 1/2 hours prior to their arrival and it took 3 phonecalls to track them down. It was the fitters mate that answered the phobe, was rude thrn hung up .They advised not using the room for a few hours to let in take hold. It was upon checking after this time that the lumps, bumps and poor cuts were found. Rang the store the next day and then we had to wait almost 2 weeks for the fitter to arrive to put right.
When he did it was after 6pm on his way home, we'd family round and he just strode in very rudely and adjusted 1 area flashing his bare ar$e to my kids and mother in law. He also absolutely stank of BO. He left saying that the other poor cuts were OK!

We'd also purchased laminate flooring before the vinyl was fitted and this 2nd lot of fitters that HAD to be paid in cash ONLY arrived on a Saturday lunchtime. It was raining a bit so they made all the cuts either in my hallway or holding the boards by hand to cut or resting on the planters outside my house! I asked them why they used the trim and left gaps where they did. They said its what they fit. When they left the area was filthy and dusted. Their cuts and fits were awful and when i questioned a manager in store about it he was gobsmacked they'd used end trim and left gaps.
The fitter wasn't happy about having his work challenged and said it was all OK. In the end they had to return to remove it all fir a full refund. Upon doing this they damaged ALL the skirting boards that I had to replace. You will see a lot of 5 star reviews on here but they are mainly before the fitters arrive.
Also just to add that I take great pride in my reviews and are always frank and honest. This places me in Googles top 10% of reviewers.

Helpful with our carpets, easy shop and very accommodating to my son where they closed the door so my 16 month old could run around, play with the toy sheep and colour in at a table.
Would use again

I am X Army and I had help with buying a carpet. My house was built in 1926. I had the stairs and landing and all 3 bedroom’s done 2 years ago. I asked the fitter John and he has a guy called Finn Who work’s with John, he did not hoover any of the rooms, landing or stair’s. He cut it to short just met the skirting board. All around the edges are black marks, dust, 2 room’s have not been used as decorating and I showed a new fitter Gary, the dirt from the floor boards that he did not hoover before putting underlay down and the carpet Finn had told me that he’s cut it to short for him to use the tool so a bit of carpet goes on the gripper and then hammered. Customer service skills are appalling. I’ve tried 5 times to ring them today and know answer. My carpet has a 10 year warranty so they will replace the carpet, because I asked John to do it and he ignored me. If not I’ll ring their head office. 🤬

My partner and I had recently bought a house in the area and was looking to replace this existing carpets. As most people do, we took a stroll into the nearby carpet stores to see what style/color we wanted etc.

Upon walking into the store we was greeted by Sally who was dealing with a customer but said she’d be over to help us shortly which we had no issues with. Once she was finished, she came over, offered us a refreshment and spent at least 20-25 minutes going back and forth with us whilst we decided what to opt for! (we was very indecisive) but she was super patient and helpful.

Once we decided and finalized payment, the earliest date was 2-3 weeks for somebody to come and measure up (this was 2-3 before Christmas) so we understood that it would be a busy period. However, whilst driving home after running a few other errands Sally gave us a call and managed to get another colleague to visit us the following day to measure up the carpets for us.

All in all the service received from Sally & the branch manager who was the one that came to the house to measure our carpets were extremely helpful and made the experience which can be quite mundane actually exciting. Lastly, we had our carpets fitted today and we’re chuffed and very happy with them. Would 100% recommend Tapi and speaking with Sally or the branch manager (I cannot remember his name, only met him the once!)

Served by a young red haired chap who was very polite, professional and friendly. When I asked multiple questions about laminate and vinyl the chap was so patient and knowledgeable to what I wanted to know.

When I finally decided what I wanted and made my purchase I felt like the sale was appreciated. I happily parted with my money with a friendly team, thank you Tapi.
