Carpetright

Absolutely gutted with the service and professionalism. Choosed a carpet that was on offer and Kingsley (sales person) said that it's free fitting and that we have to pay the fitter but this will be knocked off from the cost. We had alot happening at the same time, got the carpet fitted and couldn't get in touch with them because of being busy with a new born. When contacted them to refund me for the underlay (which we send back anyway and they never bothered refunding for themselves) with the request for fitting cost to be adjusted against the carpet as they initially promised, they refused making lame excuses i.e. store manager left, maybe offer wasn't there when you finalised order compared to when we quoted you, oh you returned underlay, different statements from different individuals (Ayesha/Ashar, new store manager with different execuses that both offers can't be there at the same time and what not, when Kingsley acknowledged that he remember mentioning free fitting but blaming/assuming that old store manager (Max) processing order over the phone based on quote, stating he will keep the cost same but will send extra carpet to ensure there is no inconvenience (btw, carpet didn't fit and had to get a cut & join) but never mentioned that there is no free fitting or anything would be different. We were overly occupied with the move ahead of baby arrival and trust these bunch of liars as never expected a company like carpetright to mess about like this but learnt a lesson that beside what company you deal with, its their team that bring about the reliability and consumer trust, which carpetright beckton has failed mesirably on with a returning customer. Will never go to carpetright beckton again!

10th November 22 - Although some minor issues from the start, Tina and Aisha addressed them so quickly. James, the fitter was fantastic, very attentive, did not rush and did such a good job. Tina is a laugh and made the experience so enjoyable, she is a great asset to that team! I am a very happy and grateful customer!

Teddy (Beckton) was AMAZING!!!
He has excellent customer service skills and was very knowledgeable about the products available in the store. He kept me updated throughout the process, arranged for the fitters to attend on a convenient day and spoke with me at the end of the day to check if I was pleased with their work.
