It was a very sad day when my dad passed away so finding a funeral home to take care of my dad was easy. Hartley folds who also took care of the funeral for my beloved nan were wonderful and guided myself and my mum through the steps to plan dad's funeral.
The death of a loved one and the grieving process with all its challenges is not easy for anyone so having someone to talk to and help you make those decisions and guide you is a blessing.
They are a wonderful company to deal with and certainly would recommend them to take care of your loved ones needs.

Hartley Foulds, their staff and colleagues were so helpful at what was a difficult time for our family. Concerned not only that we got the best funeral possible at a time of restriction but also emotional and practical support to myself as I arranged my first family funeral in behalf of my dad. Joyce would have been overjoyed at the service we received. Many Thanks.

Hartley Foulds, Burnley were superb helping me arrange the funeral. Because of Covid, most things had to be discussed over the ‘phone, but I was very satisfied with all they did and the suggestions they made. All the staff were really lovely, but a special mention of Stephanie who was so caring and helpful. Would recommend

I would recommend Hartley Foulds totally. From the moment they picked my husband up from home to me collecting the donation box a few days after the funeral we were all treated with respect, compassion and empathy. At no point was he referred to as "the deceased", his name was used... he was still our person and was treated as such. Matthew, Stephanie, Sarah, Neil and the team went above and beyond and although they must deal with countless families on a monthly basis, we felt like they were there for US. On behalf of my late husband Martin, myself and our families, I would like to thank them all very much.

Very friendly staff, dealing with what is a very distressing time in a professional and efficient manner. Everything I needed to know was explained in detail. The important thing for me was that no-one spoke to me in an “overly sympathetic” tone, it’s just a personal dislike I have from years ago when my dad died.
I would definitely recommend using these funeral directors.

Stephanie, at Hartley Foulds, saw to everything from organising the service at the church and crematorium to ordering flowers and order of service cards and newspaper notifications for my Father's funeral, taking the pressure off me at this sad time. She checked with me at regular intervals to make sure everything was going to plan. The pall bearers dealt with the difficulty of the church being upstairs with calmness and dignity and the result was a lovely service for a much loved parent.
