H J Dawson Funeral Directors

I was really really lucky that at the worst point in my life I met the most amazing people. My husband died, my world obviously fell apart but H J Dawson were our funeral directors and they are amazing! I only really had contact with Alicia and Sarah but I don't know what I'd have done without them. Helpful, friendly and genuinely caring from the very beginning. They not only took amazing care of my husband but myself and our children too. Thank you will never ever be enough x

I was very impressed with the way we were welcomed and how easy our Funeral Arranger made the whole experience. She took us through the whole process simply and efficiently. The whole organisation of the funeral and the funeral itself went well in a kind, caring and efficient way.

During one of the hardest moments in the families life we came into contact with the fantastic staff at HJ Dawson. From the first point of contact on the phone we knew they would be the right people to look after us and take us through the process.

Everything was explained clearly and we were regularly updated through the process. We decided we would like one of the Dawson's staff to take the service instead of a minister, we are glad we did, it was perfect and exactly the service our departed family member would of wanted.

I would deffinately recommend HJ Dawson, nothing was ever to much trouble , Alicia was always on hand to answer any questions I had and kept me informed about everything that was going on with mum and was very kind and patient and supported us as a family at this difficult time, on the day of mum's funeral Martin and the guys were wonderful very professional and the support they gave was second to none they carried out all duties with the upmost respect and care for our mum .

Thank you so much for giving our dad such a good send off. Dawson's went out of their way to make everything special and comforting. Thank you Alicia for helping us with all the arrangements and being so kind. And Martin and team for helping us on the day and making it run as smoothly as possible - We can't thank you enough!
