Hambrook & Johns Funeral Directors

Hambrook and John’s gave a first class funeral yesterday for my father Leslie Bentley. Everything was organised well and went like clockwork. Special thanks to Ann in the office for her excellent management of Dad, order of service and for general updating. Thanks to Lys for her excellent care of us and her professionalism on the day. Thanks to everyone for making a stressful day so worry free. Special thanks to Geoff Stephens for his brilliant eulogy, he got Dad’s love for family and friends to a tee. Thanks to everyone involved

Sadly, I lost my father in October, but Hambrook & Johns really made the whole situation bearable from the moment we first got in contact. The first time we went into the branch, to discuss the funeral arrangements etc, we were warmly welcomed by Ann who was ever so helpful and calming about everything. On the day of the funeral, we had Lisa as our director and she was so thoughtful and caring towards us all. I'd like to thank Hambrook & Johns for giving my father such a lovely send off.

Amazing, i can not put into words how amazing the ladies are. Ann, Alyssa and Linda, 3 wonderful ladies who all went above and beyond for my mum's funeral arrangements and service. From the 1st day to the last day they were with my dad and myself every step of the way. Not only were they very professional, they were also very friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at ease from the very beginning. Every query and every little thing they were there to help and advise us. Every time we met with them it was like talking to a member of our own family. Alyssa was so lovely on the day of my mums funeral, making sure my dad was ok and checking on him all the time, she is so lovely, and we are very thankful to her for the kindness and warmth that she showed us. Thank you so much.

Linda the celebrant was Very good, especially recollecting Michael's life,she also made every one feel at ease, and everyone agreed after the service was over , how lovely the service was arranged and put together,
The order of service was beautifully set out with photos of my late husband 'Michael and hymns
Lys The Funeral Director was Very good at performing her duties
She was Very kind and even helped me to get out of the car and lean on her arm as l use a walking stick to help myself getting about,
Ann was very supportive throughout
She was Very kind and let me know what flowers l could order and she sorted the order of service for me and other things that needed to be done,
