I cannot speak too highly of Austin Davis & Son Funeral Directors particularly, Angela Bailey. from the first moment we got in contact with her, we knew we were in safe hands.

Angela is a very special lady, she took care of our every need down to minute detail during a time where we could barely cope with our grief. She handled everything for us in a sensitive, caring and loving manner.

Angela has helped us lay both my parents to rest. My father in 2015 and my mother in 2018 and each time she removed all the worry around every aspect of planning. Particularly, repatriating them both to their birth home, Gibraltar - this was their last wish, to go home.

Nothing was too much to ask, she arranged the flowers , beautiful horse drawn carriage, doves, memorial booklets and so much more.

I have no hesitation in recommending, Angela and Austin, Davis & Sons.

I want to say thank you to everyone at Austin Davis and Son for their kindness and professionalism during the difficult time of arranging my mum’s funeral. We mainly dealt with Angela in the run up to the funeral and I have to say that the sheer kindness, patience, and support given to myself and my sister is beyond words. Austin Davis & son's service were great, a funeral service with passion. Every funeral directors couldn't give us the date we wanted but Austin Davis & Son made it happen and on top of that they have been very supportive to my family during this difficult time. They looked after my late father very while he was with them till the end thank you. They even went extra the mile by checking on the family after the funeral.

The organisation was excellent so was the service. Our father had a great send off.

Highly recommend Austin, Davis & Son, they offer a bespoke service that is inclusive, for all needs. Extremely professional and deliver the highest of care.

Would not recommend. Staff will say they will help with benefit application forms for the expenses payment. Funny thing i had called the department directly and they confirmed funeral directors are not supposed to complete the form on behalf of the family. Refused to give an invoice after making payment and the staff will ignore you until you get a hold of you then have the cheek to shout at you then ignore you again. Would not recommend, better to use a more reputable company in my opinion.

We would like to thank Angela, Sam, John and the team for all their help and support during a very difficult time. The process from start to finish was handled in the most professional, sensitive and thoughtful way with all our traditional Greek Orthodox customs included and executed beautifully. Nothing was too much trouble and Angela went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place. As very compassionate people, Angela and Sam took care of my mum as though she were part of their own family. I cannot praise them enough for making a difficult time a little more bearable by providing a real human touch alongside excellent service.

Angela and her team were excellent when arranging my dad's funeral. They were very supportive, kind and understanding and nothing was too much trouble. The funeral was a wonderful celebration of dad's life and Angela arranged a dove release afterwards, which was very special.
